Why not to have a Gender Scan in the 14th week....

Can you check out my scan please, see what you think, boy or girl?

 Just wanto to have your opinion on this US scan taken at 14 weeks 5 days.

The technicial said 99% its a girl. All i have is a frontal view only....Potty shot is not avilable, otherwise it would have been easier to identify.

I want to have expert opinion on this.

I wasn't even thinking about finding out the gender at my 12 week scan but now that I have seen some of the potty shots it has me thinking its a boy?

Anyone got any opinions on this one?

Had a private gender scan at 16 weeks and told girl! She said she was 100% sure as she saw the inside parts ( girlie bits) not there on a boy! Worried though at y next scan at 20 week I will be told boy. Bit worried, what you think?

I was so tempted to get a gender scan at 14 weeks pregnant but, after reading these forums, i decided it was best to wait until the anomaly scan at 20 weeks. Just 2 weeks to go now, even though I'll be happy either way, I just can't wait. It's so exciting! :D

I had the gender scan at 16 weeks and got them to reconfirm at 20 weeks and of course nothing had changed ( not possible :-) Still baby girl. Hope all goes well at your 20 week scan! exciting to know which to buy pink or blue!

My friend was told girl at 20 weeks, then back at 24 weeks for checks at the heart and told boy! - had an inexperienced sonographer, who didn't recognize the bits were tucked between babies legs! ah! very rare, but at an NHS scan they now will not say 100% as people have sued hospitals. If you want to know 100% best to go private as they hunt out the sex, whereas at NHS it's not their obligation to sex the baby. x

Had the gender scan at 16 weeks and told 150% a girl. Then at 20 weeks told girl again, but have a full 4D scan ina few days so will get her to triple check, third time/ show us again so we can do the nursery. Sonographer was lovely, as she knew how much we wanted to prepare and said baby was definitely a girl, and if she wasn't, which she is lol ,she would pay for all the pink and girlie items we have purchased. She put that in writing for us too! Hopefully if being after 3 times being told same thing I will feel confident to start buying things ;-) x
