I was so happy to see my baby! Before he showed me the ultrasound screen, he let me hear the heartbeat- I started crying! I felt so relieved to have a healthy baby! Then I got to see the baby on the ultrasound screen- so cute!! I am so much happier now that I have been to this 1st appt (even though they took half of my supply of blood for the lab today Doh! ) He said I am exactly 10 weeks today- which actually is exactly what I should be! Perfect!!! I can't wait for the next appt. I wish we could get ultrasounds every time!

Congrats on a great 1st appt! Nothing like seeing that baby and hearing that Heart beating for the first time! I'm hoping to get another u/s at my appt on the 25th. I'm going to remind my doc that it IS my birthday, and a good nub shot COULD be a great b-day gift! Happy Wink

Hopefully I'll get to hear my baby's heart tomorrow... Bill ordered a doppler for me, and it should be in tomorrow!

You know my deep desire for a child, a little one to love and to hold, to care for, to cherish. grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in Your holy image. Guide me in all my choices so that this conception, my pregnancy and my baby's birth are in line with Your will. Heavenly Father hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.
