Finally a GIRL after two boys!

Hi All,

 I just wanted to let you all know what I did to sway for a girl. Desperate for a GIRL after two beautiful boys I read every book and internet site imaginable!! I wasn't that trustworthy of Shettles so looked into choosethesexofyourbaby.com and felt inspired by everything they had to say.As it wasn't costly I decided to go for it and do their diet and follow their dates. After 3-4 months of trying I fell pregnant only to have a very early miscarriage-then decided to give it all up-as using their dates means going on the pill etc to get in line with their dates. I then fell pregnant again the very next month!I was sure I would be having another boy as knew we conceived right on ovulation BUT I did also use a lunar date to concieve a girl. So in summary this is what I did-

Followed a modified GIRL diet (for around 4 months) and used choosethesex supplements

Had sex with shallow penetration 3 days before ovulation and on ovulation (3 days later) BUT using a LUNAR date for a girl (sorry I can't rememebr the anem of the website I found it-something like cosmictechnology??but will search it again and let you know)

Hope that might give some hope-I wish you all the luck in the world for a girl-I am over the moon!

I also read THE SECRET and really tried to follow it's rules-so send it out to the universe! (I even put a text in my drafts (on my mobile) saying It's a GIRL from day one)

What is " The secret" ??

Ok, first of all.... CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Second of all...... I love you!!!! You are giving me SOME ounce of hope!  I did a 3 day c/o and then accidentally DTD on O day. I was using supplements, douching, DH warm shower, sudafed, and I can't remember what else, but there is an ounce of hope... plus I've had some nausea this time around (none with DS)... I also believe I DTD on a New moon.... but I'd love that website if you figure it out.  Just went to the docs office to listen to the h/b and it was in the 170s (although I don't believe TOO much into that).  Ok, I know what you're saying about the Secret... and I'm trying so hard to think positively, but don't want to make it harder for me to accept should it be a boy... I really need to take your advice though... I think I need to read that book.  Tell me more! :)

 Thanks for your congrats-I am still sooo happy and cannot believe it!! Firstly, 'The Secret' is a book and there is a dvd about 'sending it out to the universe' and really believing in something or that something will happen for you-search it on google and it will come up-I do believe in the power of it. I hung girls clothes around in my room and even did up a word document with the name of a girl's name etc etc....crazy I know but....!!!!

I was cncerned about concieving right on ovulation (due to the boy theory) but my OB says it is always a 50/50 chance and I gotta wonder about that moon..hey...soz haven't found the site yet but will keep looking. I was def nauseus this time round (not for my two boys) and eating so much sweets/cakes unlike salty for my boys-maybe there is something in the old wives tales too.....!!

I'm like you in the positive thinking belief. I've read the "Secret" as well! I'm confident that I'll have my girl (or girls) too!! I have two boys and would LOVE a girl! Your story gives me hope and faith! On to try # 2 next month!
