for me i'm out AF came yesterday on DH'd b'day .. he was the one holding hopes this time, so it was a great disappointment for him..

i was thinking of taking a break.. but maybe i'll try again next month..

i have a little question though.. PP said that BS doesn't suit her..  could BS be the reason why i didn't get BFP this long.. we started TTC last Dec, but tried really at least 6 times.. all the doctors i have gone to, said we both have no problems, so could the BS be the reason!! what do u think?

Your signature has a ticker that you're TTC w/low morphology, so that's definitely a problem! In fact, I'm surprised that after a year of TTC and your DH having low morphology that you haven't been advised to pursue IUI at this point. 

I don't know how much BS you're on and for how long. We do know it depletes the body of essential minerals, namely folic acid, so I think it's really hard to say that extended use might not have an adverse effect. I'm really not sure.

I will post my TBM attempt in here now for those of you wanting to know!  I am pretty sure that I ovulated around 530pm last night-I had dull achiness most of the day but at that moment I had the most intense cramp and it lasted for about a half hour.  While the girls were in the shower, DH and I fooled around, resulting in my first big O.  After that we finished up with the girls and sent them off to bed!  I then applied a little extra EW just for good measure-my pH was already a 8.5/9,  had applied BSF earlier in the day.  The EW were 9+. The EW were warmed and I used about 2mL. DH had his one strong cup of coffee, then took a cold shower, then at 20 mintues before, he iced his boys and had a coke.  I then "collected" his sample in the Instead Cup.  I then gently layered a bit of EW(about 3mL) on top, btw, DH's pH was a 9.  Now, let me tell you, putting the IC inside was very comical!  At first a little squished out(sorry for TMI) so I pulled it out a bit again and tried a new position.  I was able to get it in with minimal spillage, and what did spill out looked to be the EW.  I then went back into the bed, UPRIGHT, and we waited for 20 minutes.  I then had another big O. 

I inserted the IC at 940pm and I removed it at 1120pm-staying upright the entire time).  When I removed it there was barely anything left in it, I tested the pH of this and it was still at a 9. Woke up this morning and had quite a nice temp rise, so I think we got ovulation just in time!  I would have liked to have had our attempt a bit sooner in the evening, but there was no way around that!  Now I am just waiting for about 2 weeks!  I will probably wait until I am at least 13dpo-my longest lp has been 12 days--So I am looking at testing on December 2nd--MAYBE!  I may wait for 14 days and test on December 3rd. 

I am a bit worried about the spillage, what if it was alot of the little guys, and then to see some still left in the IC-what if nothing got in there?  Maybe the IC was blocking my cervix or something?  Once I place it in, I couldn't even feel it, so I am sure it was in correct, right?  Give me your honest  opinions of the attempt and what you think!

 Question guys! Ok, so I am drinking the Red clover blossom. Since it is supposed to work better then soy, does this increase my chance for twins? I have been drinking it all cycle. I am getting worried. My father is a twin. I don't want twins! 

 Courtney ~ Fantastic attempt! I don't really know anything about TBM/IC so I can't comment on the 'technique', but it sounds great to me. Hope you hear wonderful news in early December!

My monitor is still on Low, really hoping it switches over to High tomorrow and I get to do my attempt before Thanksgiving. I want to be in the 2 WW by then so I can PIG OUT!! 

Quick question and I know it's been covered a million times, but is the bath 1/2 C Sea Salt + 1/2 C Baking Soda? If it's something else, could someone post or PM me the 'recipe'. I want to start that tonight.

Does it work better at creating EWCM or does it work better at stimulating the ovaries? Soy *supposedly* does both of those things, so I guess it depends which one red clover blossom mimics. FWIW, I don't think anyone on here has ever had twins from soy - even when they take a lot of it for the 5 cycle days said to effect follicle stimulation! Also, soy is only 1/2 as effective as Clomid and even with clomid, your chances for twins are like 10%. I would say your chances are probably no higher than in the general population.

Oh, guess what ya'll... this morning I got mad at my DH for trying to sneak a piece of string cheese and he was like "I'm living off Alka Selter, give me a break, I need some protein to make it until lunch!" I told him "It's only 4 more days (probably) and hopefully this one sticks like glue and then we're DONE." He said "Yeah right, I know you're going to want 4. You'll be like "Oh, isn't it so cute, they each have a buddy!". I assured him I would not ask to have another after this, but I have to admit the buddy system has definitely crossed my mind.
