DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY ON THIS TEST!!!

Hi All,

 Just to let you know that I have just had a 16 week scan and the tech confirmed 98% that it is a GIRL. TMPOB result at 10 weeks was BOY and I was miserable up until now!!! I even had to have councelling I was sooo upset. After two boys I desperately wanted a girl...and did feel that this pregnancy was slightly different. BUT of course I went and did the test (depsite my friend showing me all these threads) and thought it just can't get it wrong. But looks like it is wrong and all the wonderful people in here who say it is a scam are right. Although I will be happier when it is officially confirmed at the 20 week scan-we really looked hard. At 12 weeks there was a very flat nub and 16 weeks three lines!! Two sonographers said GIRL.

I am soooo happy but was sooo misrable for awhile because of this nasty test. I hope they get rid of it soon-like anything it has a 50/50 chance of being correct. I can't wait to get my money back to spend it all on PINK!!!

OMG!!!!  Do you know how flippin excited I am for you?  I bet your on cloud 9!   What wonderful news for you.   Same thing happen to me and it took a long time to feel real.  I felt like I'd won the lottery!   I'm so happy that you got your wish.  Thanks for posting the results on here, so others can see the scam!!!

Thank YOU!!  Yes-am thrilled!I was still so worried when I went for my scan...thinking maybe just maybe the test now is more accurate and has got it right...as most of you that had posted your results were earlier on......BUT so GLAD it is wrong. I haven't written to them yet but will at my 20 week scan. I have already started shopping.....though every now and then I have a panic as I just canNOT believe it!!! SO happy:)

Im sorry to have just wasted my money on this test too! What excuse did they give you for the wrong result and when will you get your money back?

 I haven't written to them yet as want to wait till my 20 week scan which is this Thursday so I can say at my 12 wk,16 wk etc it is a girl..then see what they say-I will let you know. I cannot help but think once you have had one or two boys (I have two) there must be dna left behind....hopefully they will refund asap but suspect they will wait till I have had the baby...

I have already 6 children ...3 boys and 3 girls....in order of boy 17 years, girls 14 years, boy 10 years, girl 9 years, girl 3 years and BOY 16 months old.....

I am 13.5 weeks pregnant with baby number 7 and swayed for a girl...and this pregnancy feels like a girl for me but my results came back last week from tell me pink or blue with congratulations BOY! Im sure DNA is left behind too and have sent them a heap of questions ( you can read there answers in my thread below this one i think) I'm so sure they are full of IT!

Just like heaps of others on this board I wish I'd never taken this test...

I would love to follow your journey and see what happen and I will keep you updated on mine....ALthough I have another 4 LONG weeks before my 18 week scan!

Hi Shell,

Now that you have your next scan out the way, Perhaps you can ring Pink or Blue and ask for a free retest....Although I have read some of the women here have had retests only to come back with the same results, So perhaps you might not want that added stress???

 Anyway that was just a thought as if they actually get it right with the restest you can get your money back sooner and spend it all on PINK!!!

I actually rang them yesterday with all my concerns and was offered a free retest!

do u have any different sympthoms when u had boys and when is girl? old wives tales... anything?

I would not waste money on this either.  I had a test in 08 and was told I was carrying a girl at 10 weeks.  I found out at 20 weeks I was carrying my 3rd son.  I was devastated.  My first two boys were then 12 and 10.  I had even bought pink clothes.  I rang them and was offered a retest which again said it was a girl.

Also a friend of mine in another city really wanted a girl as she had a son and was told at 10 weeks that she was having a boy.  She also retested and they remained firm that it was a boy.  She had a girl.  That is 4 tests that were 100% incorrect.

It was suggested that it was a scam that worked on the inevitability of returning 50ish% of money to clients.

Dont waste your money or time or anguish or greif.

I wanted to post my results.  I had the TMPOB test done at 10 weeks (I was only 7 weeks gestational age) and it said Girl.  I was sooo excited because I have two boys and have always wanted a daughter but did not get my hopes up.  I had an ultrasound recently at 15weeks and its a GIRL!!!! it was 100% right for me!
