No, you cant tell from a still shot.

The theory was right for me also. My dd is anterior left.

I've heard of this theory, it's intriguing...not sure if I believe it or not yet!

I'm pretty sure the placenta w/this baby is on the right, that with several other "old wives tale" gender predictors had me REALLY thinking I was having another BOY this time around...we had an elective scan at 16wks and THAT tech said it was a boy (99% sure)...BUT, I didnt think the elective tech seemed very "good"...so I posted the video of it 2 days ago on this site and 2 techs and the overwhelming majority of other people who commented were SURE it's a baby GIRL I'm carrying!

SO I HAVE NO CLUE! HA! I'm anxious for my 21 wk anatomy scan to see if the placenta theory hold true or false for me! =)

I'm very interested to hear what other people and THE TECHS on this site think of the theory!

Never heard about the theory before, but its interesting. With both the boys I had posterior placentaes, when I was pregnant with my daugther it was anterior.

personally i dont buy into this theory at all. All the placenta locations I've seen seem to be associated with either gender 50/50. I have the same views on the whole skull shape thing - 50/50

Well

it is really true that nothing is 100 % assure about this i.e location right or left but still majority is with this theory.

I don't know why

but there are long documents about the same on net

is it scientific or myth
