What good it
this?!?!? Where's the apology for what I've gone through?!
Where's the apology for the horrible customer service I received on the
phone?! What the heck is this going to prove?! I am totally
throwing my hands up in disbelief. Does this place have even an
ounce of compassion or concern for it's customers or are we just drops
of blood and dollar signs.
Please someone reply - I'd like to know that I'm not going out of my
mind on this one. All my other posts have been read multiple
times w/o reply. Have I come across as offensive? Please -
prggo hormones here - help me out :)

I got EXACTLY the same response after I emailed them saying that I had 2 US that said girl even though their test said boy. They have already retested my blood sample, and have given me boy results twice already. I guess they are thinking: third time is a charm....

Did you not tell them you did not want them to retest your sample? I thought I read somewhere that you said you didn't want them to do this? Or was that to Sherry? I can't keep it all straight. Be prepared for your result to now say boy! I feel your pain. How irritating!!

I don't think there is any point in getting your test retested. They have been wrong so many times, would you really believe the results? My suggestion to everyone is to forget your BGM results and concentrate on your ultrasound results. Hopefully we can all get our money back at the end of all this.

So sorry! I was laughing to hard to respond. I mean really, there is the penis. I have now shown the u/s picture to my husband and two best friends. My husband says it's an ear, definitely an ear.
I would tell them I am not interested in a re-test. You took the test to know before your u/s not as some sort of weird denouement. Tell them you will be in touch after the birth, looking for your money.

Oh give me a break!!! They are such a joke! Do they really think you would believe anything they tell you???? You have certainly not offended me. I have read your other posts where you have sent letters to Accu Gen and Sherry and thought "WELL SAID"! You are obviously intelligent and it shows in how clear and articulate you are in your letters. You make so many valid points. When my U/S was different from the BGM result, I ordered another kit the day before I found this web site but I am returning it. They have already taken $275 from me and I refuse to give them $25 more. The Any Many Miny Moe method they use is free around here...my kids could have guessed just as well. I have repeatedly tried to get this national attention but to no avail. I have emailed the Today Show, Good Morning America, Oprah, and the local station here in Atlanta. Has anyone else had any luck? They sure were quick to "Break" the story but are not willing to do their journalistic duty and inform the public of the problems associated with this test and this company. Not to worry though...I am very persistant! Erica just continue to be strong and a thorn in their side. : ) What are they thinking...messing with a bunch of HIGHLY emotional pregnant women. I am over the disappointment, now I am mad!
My heart goes out to everyone experiencing this emotional roller coaster.

Great response....Yeah right. So in other words "It'll change if we take extra special care this time" That is such bull!!!!!! I, Melissa sent you an email earlier asking if you had any pics of your us. If so, i'd like to see them to compare them to mine.
Good Luck! I'd really like to hear the outcome of the next test : )
BTW you have EVERY reason to be upset right now! It has consumed me!!!!

Dear Erica,
I think it is so wonderful you are contacting all of these agencies and helping the truth come out. I did my test in September and got a boy result. I will not be able to do an u/s until late November, so I am in limbo like so many others. I had an u/s w/my first son at 18 weeks and they told me right away it was a boy. Sure enough, when he was born he was a boy! I can't believe Sherry keeps telling everyone the u/s are all wrong. What a joke! Good for you for writing her back and correcting her on her fact about first trimester u/s. How can she refute evidence from several u/s all showing the same thing! My heart goes out to you because since my husband and I were planning only two kids, when I found out I was having a boy (even though now I don't trust the results at all) I had a few days of feeling like my dream of a daughter would never be. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like to get a girl result, get all excited about having a girl, and then have the u/s show boy.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for writing all those letters in order to protect others from this terrible product! I am also doing my best by writing the Today Show, my moms group in the bay area which has 750 members, and telling anyone who whould listen to me. I wish you all the best!

Guess what? I just got an e-mail with my second results. Can you guess. . . . :) Acu-Gen says that baby with a penis is a girl :) Of course it's the standard
"reserve judgement" form letter that everyone seems to be getting. If
it weren't so pathetic I might have gotten mad about this. I can't
wait to forward it to my husband - he's going to love it! He has less
patience for stupidity than I do.
BTW, Melissa, my 18 week and 22 week 3D pictures are all posted on my
"second u/s-- BGM still wrong" post. There's three links at the
bottom that are pictures - just click and they pop up. Warning
the third one is a bit graphic - it apparently shows a baby girl with a
penis :) Maybe I could sell it to the Enquirer for some cash :)

Erica,
I am so mad at this situation that I can't see straight! You poured you heart out to Sherry and you get a canned Robot answer- cold and without heart. I am so very sorry- from the bottom of my heart I am so, so sorry for you and all of us. They just prove time and time again that they are a company and a lab that has no concern for their customers. You baby is a boy- any trained monkey can see that- and yet she doesn't even acknowledge your pictures. Anway, I think about you all the time and I wish you the happiest, healthies baby ever!
All my love,
Danielle

I too got the same exact response. I demanded they test another sample, not to re-test the same sample with "extra attention", because my blood at 5 weeks was obviously wrong/contaminated, something. They sent me another kit for free, and are testing it for free again. Not that I will believe ONE single word of it, I just want to see if they change their mind and believe that the baby boy they promised me has no penis. I am anxious to see what lie they will pull out of their hat this time. I saw in an ultrasound yesterday the actual labia...three bright, HUGE crystal clear lines. I am 21 weeks, so my ultrasound is near impossible to be wrong. I don't want to hear "the testicles may not have dropped" crap from them. I had my 1st son's ultrasound at 17 weeks and his parts were clear as day...I know what a boy looks like! I wonder how much of our money Mr. Chang Wang will make out with before he gets arrested or closed down?? Bet we made him a millionaire. He may need it for attorney fees.
I have too emailed the Today show, been interviewed by a paper, etc. Keep trying gals!

I agree with everyone. Screw with believing in BGM. How dare they try and retest now? They already know what you are carrying so is it really going to matter when they say "boy" when you already know your results? I think they are so full of themselves. Dont worry ladies. They are under investigation and I have a strong feeling wont be here much longer to do this to anyone else. Everyone take care of yourself, we are going thru the most important time of our lives and carrying these precious children. Be happy no matter what as long as they are healthy...a baby is a baby and either way we are blessed but however BGM will not be when we are all through with them. Good luck everyone and have a safe pregnancy. Summer

Erica,
To share with you my response from Acu-Gen, after I had emailed them that I had an Amnio which disproved their results:
Dear Pamela,
Our policy states that only the birth certificate and a valid registration number can provide the evidence needed to refute the results provided by our
service. However, we would review your amnio report if you can fax a copy to
us. our fax number is 1-978-459-7809.
Sincerely,
Acu-Gen Biolab
So I sent them the results today and will let you know what they say. I mean COME ON, are they going to say that their results are more accurate that an amnio from NYU Hospital??? I am so sorry that you have had to go through all of this. I am here if you want to chat, especially since we are due date buddies as well!
xoxo Pam

Erica..watch out for Acu Gen - I will tell you why - number one - if there method is so great, why are they so evasive when asked about their techniques by other professionals in their field? And number 2, I have seen them "get different resutls" suddenly after ultrasounds are contrary to their results. I tell you, ..it is likely they will suddenly "agree" with your ultrasound results thus precluding you from ever getting a refund. They'll get theirs..they shouldn't have marketed their product the way they did - it is obviously really starting to haunt them - let me tell you - they were getting lots of attention in May, but now in October, people are finally figuring out that it just doesn't make sense. They should have just said 50/50 results and that would have saved a lot of women money and heartache. I was told girl several times and I too had two ultrasounds - and both times, let me tell you, the penis could not be clearer - really - a monkey could tell the sex - it's frustrating, but at this point, I am waiting until February when my son is born, and then I will try and get a refund of my monies...God Bless..and hang in there...
