oooh no she did it again! I think I would have beaten my childs a$$ if they did it 4 times in a row, luckily my 2 kids that did that put a break in between each one...you poor thing!

put her in a zip up sleeper and take a saftey pin through the zipper to keep her from unzipping it.

good luck!

None of my girl did this. Maybe she is doing it because she know u gonna come running?

Maybe if  you clean it up quiet and don't do nothing she is not gonna find it  fun anymore? (after a while)

I don't know ...sorry for the cleanups!

Hi Jojogirl.

Poor you!

Definitely this is not a girl thing at all! I have two girls and both of my girls are poo trained by the age of 1!  and fully toilet trained by about 18 months (dry day and night).  Have you heard of the concept of "Elimination communication?"  Unfortunately for this to work you will have to start training your baby at about 6 months.  Please have a read at some of the articles at the following link. Good luck.

Thanks for all the advice and info girls!

She is in a onsie, tights and jeans todayStick out tongue...I am NOT cleaning up  today!!  She also has a cold and I feel bad for not talking to her yesterday....LOL...she is such a "boldy"

My mom and I were talking about it and my mom thinks she should be in pajama sleepers all day and keep working on the potty training in the meantime.  It just figures my sweet baby girl would do this to meStick out tongue

I don't even know where to begin....

I'll just come right out and ask.  Do girls have an issue with poop??  Because everytime dd poops her pants she can't stand it in there for even a second until I can change her....she goes grabbing for it.  OMG...I can't leave her alone for a second or I come into a room full of poop.

I just spent the last 45 minutes cleaning her and poop off the rug, window sill, stroller...you name it.  She is soooooooo gross!  I don't know what to do with her.  I have tried potty training her but she is only 18 months!  I figure if she has this big of an issue with it in her pants, then I will try to get her to not do it in her pants.  I am so frustrated.  Just when I think she is done pooping for the day (she went twice before this happened),  I go in the kitchen to help ds with homework and...... poop everywhere!

I am so angry with her and MY BOYS DIDN'T DO THIS!  Is it a girl thing??

OMG JoJo, saw your thread and had to reply Happy LOL

No, it's not a girl thing, LOL! I can swear by this...I have 3 and they have never done that before.

I hope you find out why she is doing that though...I cannot even imagine how upsetting it must be for you to find such mess.

Well, she is in bed.  We had a poop free day!  I had her in a lot of clothing to make it difficult for her to get in there....LOL

Onto day #2!  Hopefully she will be so discouraged she won't do it again....Pray

I donno, but a friend of mine had this happen A LOT with her twin girls.  If things got suspiciously quiet in the bedroom, she'd go in to check on them and sure enough, brown faces, brown dog face, brown walls, you name it.  Not sure but I think they grew out of this?  I know she was really frustrated as well.....

I thought I would update this thread.

DD is actively potty training (her choice not mine).  She poops in the potty now.  She really hated having poo in her diaper so I guess that is why she would try to take it out.  So now we just put her on the potty and she does her buisness.  She is 19 months old so I am shocked she does this.  but I guess the playing with poop was the first clue she was ready?  Not sure but I'm glad I am not dealing with her playing with it anymore....LOL

 Jojogirl,

So glad that your DD is over that stage and potty trained at that!  Congratulations!!!

Your post just had me rolling, crying and laughing hysterically at the same time.  All this only because it hits so close to home.  Only the thing with my DD is that she poops in her underwear, takes it off, dumps the poop on the porch and our dog proceeds to EAT it...all of it!  Yuck  Talk about vomit-ous!!!  No wonder her breath is notoriously stinky...toilet stinky.  I have suffered severe nauseau from these events alone...sigh.

 Love you!

Anne
