Since last night, I have been having horrible lower back pain. Mostly on my right side. I had a little spotting off and on yesterday, but I had been checked the day before. I feel like crap today. Could this be a sign of impending labor??

My guess would be YES!  However, last week when I was checked at 37 weeks I lost my mucus plug and had a bloody show the next day followed by HORRIBLE pressure in my rectum for a couple of days...I SWORE she was on her way out, but she's stubborn.  So I guess you never know.  Has your cervix made any progress?

I went from a 2cm, 75% 2 weeks ago to 3cm, 85% on Tuesday. So I am making progress! I just hate this not knowing. Every night, I keep thinking "this is it". How are you doing, Sarah?

I'm hangin' in there...but unlike you (who seems very optomistic that baby is on his/her way) I keep telling myself that Alyssa will stay inside until AFTER my dd, since that when both my boys desided to come.  I'm trying to do I in my power to help get her out, but even the 40 minutes walks every day aren't doing a  thing.  Oh well.  I hope to hear the birth announcement from you very soon!!!

Not yet! Thanks so much for asking!!! :) I am beginning to think like you----that this baby is going to be stubborn and wait! I still have lower back pain and every time I feel a braxton hicks, I keep thinking---maybe? How are you feeling? Did you make it through that storm the other day? (My family lives in Phx)
