I always liked the idea of a large family but rather than plan for one I thought I would take it one baby at a time. When I had my first it took me a while to get used to being a mum and it was almost 18 months later that we started trying for baby no.2. Well baby no.2 has been with us for 10 weeks and I'm loving being a mum to two but I'm starting to think about baby no.3. I love the thought of a busy house with lots of children. I thought 2 would be hard work but i've got into a routine much quicker than I did the first time around. Am I crazy to be thinking about no.3 already?

haha sounds exactly like me. I couldn't even think about having another one until our first was 21months (which is when we started trying for no#2)...but within 2 weeks of having no#2...I wanted a no#3!!! lol...Still do!! So no advice from me...but you are definately not alone!! I think its perfectly normal! Having babies is what we were born to do! 

When I found out ds3 was a boy I started tp plan my next baby and so on.  Now I'm pg w/ ds5 and I hope to be PG w/ dc6 w/ in 14 months after birth.  I really do love having so many kids!

That's good to hear. I can't wait to have a full house. I had my first at 29 and I so wish I had started sooner.

Not crazy at all!  Up until this pregnancy, I always used to plan the next child whilst I was still pregnant - we actually started TTC #2 when DS1 was only 2weeks old - now that's crazy!!!!  LOL

I would have an idea of when I wanted the next baby to come along (roughly speaking) by now if we weren't done this time around...  But for the first time ever I honestly don't want anymore and my health can't take it anyway, so there's just no desire.  Instead I'm beginning to plan what I'll do with my 6 children over the next few years before they're all away in school fulltime, and what I'll do with myself once they are all in school and thinking a lot about the future...

You're definately not alone though! 

I TOTALLY agree. With DS#1, we didn't start TTC#2 until 18 months. But once DS#2 was here, at 6 weeks, I was ready to start TTC#3, if I ever get my cycle back due to LAM (Lactational Amorrhea.. lack of period due to breastfeeding).. But I'm with you. I want more more more,LOL.
