Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss....I feel horrible. I am so glad that your baby girl looks so PERFECT!!! I also believe that your baby girl has a little angel sister that will protect her and your family forever!!!!!!! I know that you never let yourself get used to the idea of twins but losing a baby is all the same...take time to grieve her but know that you are very blessed and that your baby girl is growing so strong and will be in your arms before you know it!!! I am so happy for you and so sad for you all at the same time!!!!!!! Congratulations on your PERFECT baby girl!!!!

I get it. I really do. From the beginning, when we transferred two, I had to root for two. Yes, deep down, I know that a singleton is what our family needs in terms of sanity, but when I made the conscious decision to put back two, I could not cheer for just one. They were both babies and they were both mine and I loved them both dearly. And I did. Now I am being told that due to my whacked out numbers for a week and then having them recover, it most likely means both took and one was struggling, causing the nasty number game and now one is going strong. That makes me sad in a way that one of them tried and failed. And it makes me relieved in a way because thank God I didn't do a SET with the one that failed. My first u/s is next week and I'm wondering if the first one will even have a sac, etc. I'm trying to be upbeat and cheerful for my one still growing, but I can't help but worry, if one stopped, maybe the other will too.
So I understand, I really do.

"The truth is, I only wanted one, but not for it to happen like this."
Exactly, that says it all. {hugs} We know, honey, and we're all sad for the little bean that tried to make it even as we're so happy for the miracle that thrives inside you.
