This is the craving that is staying consistant so far.  I can eat pasta with sauce all day.  First time in all my pregnancies.  Not sure why I want it so much but I'm curious if anyone else is craving that??  I seem to only want a marinara sauce and not meat sauce.  Interesting!

See...I don't crave tomatos....LOL...I know....weird.  It is just spagetti sauce.  Like Ragu with veggies.  I just ate a smartones angelhair with zuccinni and squash in it.  Ok...so veggies and fruits are another craving but together with the sauce and I'm in heaven.  But tomatos by themselves is not what I want.  Or soup.  It's got to be sauce...and preferably with chunks of veggies.  So the real question is do I crave something "in" the sauce or the sauce itself?  Or the veggies in it??....LOL...I'm intrigued.

Yup!  Me too.  Only meat with my boys.  Not with dd.  DD was all fruits and veggies.  but not sauce

In the beggining of this pg I had a huge craving for tomato sause and bananas. I realized after a while that I had been on the girl diet and avoiding potassium rich foods for so long that I was deficient in that mineral so that is most likely the reason I craved tomato sause. Not sure if the same is true in your case but certainly interesting. Once my levels were back up I stopped craving tomato sause but I had to eat a banana a day for about 2 weeks for it to go away completly.

 I craved comfort foods and carbs in the first trimester of this pregnancy. Mostly lasagna. Yum! 

Maybe I was lacking in someting too.  I know I had low potassium with my last pg and I never really got it up again.  I didn't want tomato sauce before getting pg either so maybe that is another thing.  I also went through a banana thing in the first few weeks.  I had to have it in my grape nuts too...LOL....funny!

I also think there might be something to comfort food thing cause I also can go for Mac N Cheese on any given day....I guess I just want the pasta or something.  maybe it really isn't even sauce like I think it is.  Maybe it's what the sauce goes with...ie pasta??

that is funny you mention that cause dh said something very similar to me tonight!  Either I talk about food (my favorite topic) with you all or poor dh who I drive mad....haha.  They are opening a sonic up the street and I've never been to one but have seen the commercials.  So all I could talk about tonight is how I can't wait to "try Sonic"....LMAO....I am a mess....and it's only going to get WORSE!!!  Look out!!

Yes! I have been out to eat italian more in this pregnancy than in the past few years!  Spaghetti, cheese sticks with marinara, breadsticks with marinara, yummm.  I used to get italian cravings, maybe once every couple of months, but now it is like several times a week!

Oh No! a Sonic has the best ice cream sundaes, shakes, and BANANA SPLITS! Talk about packing it on during pregnancy! If I had one down the street while I was pregnant I would have gained 100 pounds easily!

Blah no!  I got sick during the first part of my pregnancy when my DH tried to make some kind of homemade spaghetti sauce for Mother's Day while I had the flu.  So I haven't been able to eat any spaghetti sauce my whole pregnancy.  But I know with past pregnancies I did crave it a lot.  I should've known I was having a girl this whole time though because of my cravings being the same as the others.  With all of my pregnancies I've always craved things like roast, beef stew, pizza, peanut butter and chocolate, cheese, nachos, burritos, and fruit smoothies.   

Not so much!  With the boys I LOVED pasta and sauce.  We ate so much pasta and carbs my hubby gained 100 lbs, oops!  This time I can handle pasta, but the smell of the sauce gags me.  LOL
