    gross post d&c bleeding question

    WARNING, WAY TMI AND DESCRIPTIONS

My last D&C a couple of months ago I had 2 full-on weeks of bleeding and cramping.  When I told my OB that I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of another D&C this time, because I was in so much pain, he looked quite surprised and told me that he would organise some pain killers.

Soooo, this time I thought I was getting off lightly.  After the proceedure, I had little more than spotting for 4 days.  Then all of a sudden 2 days ago, BOOM, full-on cramping and bleeding.  Why has this happened?? And why do I bleed so much, I've heard that some people hardley bleed at all?? And now for a whinge... I hate wearing pads and that constant feeling of leaking...it is just foulYuck  Another week of this is going to kill me!! Has anyone cheated and resorted to using tampons??

Sorry for the really gross post!

When I mc I bled for 4 months because I chose to mc naturally.  I did cheat and use an instead cup sometimes but only for an hour or two

I had the same thing.  Not much more than spotting for the first five days and then heavy bleeding for another two weeks then spotting for another week.  Sorry, it sucks.  A constant reminder of a MC.

I had a D&C two weeks ago and bled HEAVILY for a week and then lighter for another week.

I didn't realise you were pregnant or had had a miscarriage, I'm sorry I missed it all, thankyou for your reply though.

Oh noSurprise, I guess I should have elaborated a little.

OOOOOOHHHHHHH!  I was a bit shocked, I must admit.

I am feeling much better, the cramping is gone and the bleeding has let up a bit, thanks for asking!  It's very strange, but I find the bleeding and cramping very tough, I am much happier now that it's slowing down,
