Sex Selection The negatives are:
1. You should know that the procedure is through IVF (test tube baby).
2. It costs about 3500 U.S dollars, depending on the number of embryos we examine.
3. We cannot determine the sex because there is no evidence to separate the X sperm from Y one. However, we can diagnose whether the embryos are males or females and transfer the desired sex.
4. All fertilized eggs could be from the same unwanted sex.
5. No guarantee that pregnancy will occur. Success rate ranges between 30-50% according to the age and number of embryos.
Now I am thinking this quote of 3 500 is for PDG ONLY..... I am sending them back another email now to clarrify.........this and all expenses. It certainly sounds like a viable option especially for us Aussies....it is definatly closer and by all accounts is very reputable. luv Jill xoxoxox
