Sex Selection in Jordan is BEST IN WORLD ?

Hi lovely ladies,

Well I was just looking on the internet (of course researching sex seltection, swim up methods etc......) and came acoss this academic article written in UK that evaluated numerous IVF clinics around the world.......and it said that the Farah Hospital in Amann Jordan has the highest success rate- I think it said 66% live birth following IVF / PDG.  I can defiantly find the article if anyone wants to read it.  I immediatly closed it and searched the internet for the Farah Hospital and eventually found it.....my god it looks like a Hotel but they don't have cost on there but do do PDG for family balancing as long as it is discussed firstly with them the reasons etc............... SO my question is has anyone ever heard of this Hospital (it only does pregnancy, IVF etc) or know their costs.....

I have emailed them and as soon as I know I will post all the info they send me on here.......I am just hoping perhaps it may be a cheaper option than the US for us Aussies...... am I dreaming ??????

I also just read on here where someone thought one cycle was only $6000 I wonder if this was with PDG ? Ummmmmm

Remember though, it is hard to compare clinics based just on one number -- some clinics can have a higher pregnancy rate because they don't accept patients with a poor prognosis of getting pregnant (a practice called "cherry picking").     I'm not saying Farah does this, but to be aware that looking at one number is not always a fair comparison of clinics.

Always interested to hear about good international options -- the US is so expensive and so far away!!

Still waiting for their reply.  I have their phone number and will call later if I have not heard.  I was thinking though perhaps the $6000 would be for one IVF cycle and not PDG...perhaps they would add more for that....ummmm

Please let it be a cheaper option....my DH has good friends there and we could stay with them......that in itself would be cheaper.

I know of one lady on here that was successful in Jordan, but not sure if this was the same clinic... perhaps?

I LOVE it when someone finds another option. Keep us filled in. I just wish there was somewhere we could ask who would give us a rundown on whether they are really that good or not.

I know two girls from another board who went to Jordan, both of them are now pg! And they both highly recommend Jordan, they are very professionel and also cheap!

Sounds great. Now I want to go there and not US. So confused. I just dont trust anywhere really.

I did check out flight prices and those to Amman were about the same as to Los Angeles. Does anyone know what the flight duration is compared to the other?

Oh ladies you are so sweet.....yes our DS3 is just devine and I thank GOD everyday that I was blessed with him because together with DS1 and DS2 I realise how truly lucky I am.  Thank you for your kind comments.

Now I am soo excited to tell you all that I recived another email.....AND GUESS WHAT ?  It would appear that a complete cycle for us where we would do ER, PDG, ET is amazingly LESS than $4000 !!!!!  Here was their next email to me.....

 Dear Mrs. xxxxxxx,

HopingforaDD- I was just thinking perhaps you could contact those two women that are PG and ask them directly some questions as I think getting it straight from people who have been there is THE VERY BEST and most reliable info.

I have had contact with a beautiful lady confidentially and she has given me a true insight into Jordan.....  this to me is the best referral and opinion.
