I agree with Michaela. But thought I might add a bit more seing as I tried for a Boy too.
It helps to chart for a cycle or two and use OPK's. Then you will know when your temp dip and then rise happens.
If you are just desperate to get on with the job though check your cervix twice a day it is he texture that is most important, position can change due to your last bowel movement. When I got a +ve OPk my cervix was wet soft and quite open. That evening it was very wet, slippery, extremely soft and very open. It was almost senitive to the touch.
We DTD that night. So for me around 16 hours after +OPK.
Sure enough my temp had gone up the next AM and later that morning my CM texture and mucus had changed to firmer and closing and my CM creamy. Hopefully we got O right on.
I think the key is careful watching when OPK's start getting darker and if your CM and texture changes to less fertile don't risk O+12. Monitor things 'up there' from now till and beyond getting your +ve OPK. when, after your first +ve you have peak CM ( EWCM) and texture you will not go far wrong. You will be so close to O and not at all past it.
Greatest luck XX
