After hearing weeks ago that Ashely Simpson was having a boy (and being psyched about it, cuz come on, none of the Hollywood paparazzi prey are having boys anymore), I then heard she was having a girl, and now they say they don't know the sex even though they said they'd definitely find out.  Well, check out this photo of her:

If that is not a girl belly with a filled-out girl face, I don't know what is :( .   Looks exactly like Nicole Richie's belly.  F!!!  When is somebody "out there" who gets magazine covers going to have a freakin' boy already?  It makes me the most jealous and angry/sad when it's somebody funky and young like Ashley, especially when the baby was an accident, like my first.  It's like jeez, they do it without even trying, WHY CAN'T I HAVE A GIRL!?!?!?! 

Watch, they'll steal my name, too.  I've already heard it a couple times recently after never hearing it ever before in my life on a real person except that one old lady on my honeymoon cruise.

Oh yeah, and I definitely put a comment up there saying that it's a girl, and that nobody "important" (visible) in Hollywood is having boys anymore, and complaining about the Life and Style cover as a mom of two boys.  Did they put it up?  NO!  I hate CBB!

I tend to notice celebrities having boys - Britney, Gwen Stephani, Christina A... can't spell her name..The magazine I bought had a feature on pregnant famous-ish people & the only ones who expressed a preference wanted boys, which won't be good if it's a girl who gets to read that comment!  For me it's a relief if they say they're having girl so that my envy doesn't explode again... I wish I didn't care! I mean it's not really going to impact on me what they have & I hate feeling jealous over people I don't even know! It's bad enough with the families I see around me I wish I could switch off the GD, I'm sure I used to be normal?!

All those ladies you mentoined w/boys had them years ago, cept xtina who was January.  Since then, Hollywood has been a pink tsunami!

Yeah I was struggling to think of any recent ones! There was 1 of Brangelina's twins but the other was a girl. Cate Blanchett had her 3rd boy?! I remember feeling annoyed about that; I havn't even got 1! Can't think of any more tho... Apart from lots of [well, 2] ladies in my aerobics class, bah!

Madonna's rumoured to be adopting a Malawayan DD.. I wonder what Mini Driver's having? And what name she'll give it - Rally, Designated, Pile? Apparantly someone in New Zealand named their twins 'Fish & Chips' - that's cruel, like saying 'We didn't really care about you so we gave you a name that everyone'd laugh at'

Jennifer Lopez had twins , boy and girl and David Beckham and Victoria Bekham have three boys!

Cate Blanchett and Xtina are the only two big-name A-Listers to have singleton boys this year, and Cate keeps a low profile, so it's not like we saw much of her pg or baby Ignatius.  The boy/girl twins I don't like to count because I feel like they're another thing altogether, like the cultural ideal of pigeon pair all at once.  Plus the whole twin thing makes them different, too.

Everyone else on CBB is all girls, all the time though!  Except, like I've said before, male soap stars, Christian and country singers, some famous men with unfamous wives, and non-American famous people.

Makes me wonder if celebs are using high tech methods on the down-low?

off topic, but really? I never follow any american idol stuff, but I always thought he was gay? Anyway I really see Ashley Simpson having a boy for some reason?!!?!  I don't know...it seems about 50-50 to me regarding gender but definitely waves of boy/girl.  Its not like having a boy is a consolation prize, especially for your first when its not even a question of balancing gender. 

Who cares about celebrities??  Seriously.  

Just because they are having girls doesn't mean they are "happier."  Look at the divorce rate, substance abuse and other MENTAL issues in Hollywood.

Denise Richards?  Yeah, I'm jealous...

Michelle Williams?  Um, her baby daddy is gone...

Tori Spelling...  Her dad is dead and she has a complete CRAP relationship with her mom.

I agree with the poster that said it is pretty much 50/50. I think that gd makes you see what you want to see. before i had my dd i would notice all the baby girls...it was like radar...
