    Thought I'd introduce myself :)

I've been lurking around the boards for a while and thought I'd introduce myself here as I am the proud mum of three little men.

I have a 3.5 year old, 2 year old and my baby boy has just turned 9 monthsHearts

I suffer a little from gender disappointment as I thought I would've had a daughter. DH and I always wanted two boys and when I fell pregnant when DS#2 was around 8 months we were quiet happy. We both felt that we would've been happy with whatever we were given

When we found out at 19 weeks that DS#3 was on the way I felt quite sad much to my own surprise. DS#3 is an absolute gem and I love that we have been blessed with him and his brothers but I still have a sadness. DH doesn't really care as he was an only child and loves having the boys but I feel like we are still missing a member of the family.

We have discussed #4 but I'm afraid that if we have another boy I will resent him for not being a girl. I don;t have thoise feelings towards the other boys but I don't want to bring a child into the world feeling that way.

We have never tried swaying with our sons but I think if we do have one more we will give it a try.

Has anyone got their girl after three boys? Is it worth a try?Happy

Welcome!  Congratulations on your precious boys.

I did no swaying for my first 2 (I had never heard of it), and both were boys, then I did swaying I learned about here, and am pg with a girl.  I think swaying is at least worth trying, if you're open to having another kid!  (I did go into it with the mentality though that swaying might not work, and I had to be completely willing to have another boy.  It might help, but it doesn't always.)

     Hello Happy Wink

I'm new too and about to have my third boy. Did you know that the more boys you have, the more chance you have of having a boy? And the more girls you have, the more chance you have....of having a boy!  Apparently for your 3rd boy, your chances for a girl go from 50/50 to 70/30.

I know I'll be where you are in a year, I was there last night. I thought this pregnancy would be my last, but I want a daughter so now I wonder.

I really hope you get a daughter. Heart
