I don't know why I did this and maybe I am torturing myself, but I tested my pH level and am currently six months pregnant with DD2.  I am using PH Ion test strips which have a range of 4.5 to 9.0 with .25 pH unit increments.  Both my urine and saliva were at optimum level but my CM was at the very top top end of acidic.  Does this tell me:-

1.  I normally have acidic CM (hence getting two girls?); or

2.  pH changes because I am pregnant and as I'm carrying a girl, might show to be more acidic?; or

3.  Are they just totally unreliable to do when pregnant anyway?

Anyone used the brand I have?  It's an American brand but it says for urine and saliva on the front.  I don't think I know what I'm doing really(!) but even so, doesn't stop me from thinking I killed off DH's boy sperm.

They say you are meant to have acidic PH if trying for a girl!! But not sure if it stays that way if you are pregnant with a girl!!

I tested mine last week and it was about 5 - 5.5 so quite acidic, But I don't know what I'm having so thats really no help!!

We need people who know the gender to tell us if its right or not.
