I wen to my doctor monday the 11th at 9:00 to have my membranes stripped which hurt pretty bad so I went home and took a nap. I woke up around noon with period like cramps and realised they may be contractions but to me it was weird becase it was only the lower part of my stomach and thought maybe I was cramping from the procedure, well about 8:00 I decided to go in and they said I was def. contracting but would watch me for an hour. so another hour later she says I am at about a 5, then she makes me walk for an hour. When they checked me again I was at a 6 and it was around 11:00 by then so they said they'd call my doc and admit. I ended waiting till1:00 in the morning for the epidural but I felt a lot better by then. My bag of water broke around 3 and when they checked me again she said I was at a 7 so they were going to try pitocin to speed things up. Well I went from a 7-10 in an hour and was fully effaced so they called the doc in around 5:00 a.m. and told me not push. When my doc got there he gave me the old "I told you so", cause I said stripping my membranse had never worked befor! By about 5:40 I started to push and 4 pushes later she was born at 5:52 am on the 12th. I couldn't have asked for an easier delivery! I couldn't feel the epidural or even when they babies head came out. It was great. Alyzea weighs 6 lbs 5 ounces and is 18.5 inches long with beautifull dark hair, eyes, and skin! I love her so much! I posted a pic for now. Thank you ladies for all your help and for SARAH, It def. worked for me so labor vies to you too!

What a great story!!! And it brings so much hope to me.  My "turn" comes this wednesday and I will be exactly 37 weeks (I think you were too, right?).  I am so excited...I think it's my only chance at a small baby--I would LOVE a 6.5 pounder, that would be perfect.
