Actually, I have 3 sons. Me and dh just have 2 of them "together". I have always not really cared for dairy. Other than what was in some things I cooked and my cereal. I was always a meat and potatoes girl. Pretty much everything your supose to eat on the boy diet, I was doing without realizing it. All 3 of my boys were concieved on the day I ovulated. So, I do believe there is truth to the diet portion of swaying.
I have started increasing my dairy in June. Not on the full girl diet. I know, bad.....lol My Ph is pretty much always low. I drink crystal light every day and do supplements. I tested my ph combined with dh's ph and we were about a high 6 low 7 together.
I would definitly cut out the dairy in your diet. Follow the boy diet and Ph plays a big part.
Dh is horrible about taking pills. So I am constently telling him he needs to take something. But a lot of the fertility pills seem to contain supplements that are on the boy side of ttc. I am trying to find something that is girl friendly. Right now he is taking calcium/mag and folic acid because folic repairs the sperm.
Dh's recovery, he thought it would be like after the vasectomy. But it wasnt. Recovery took a while for him. And it was difficult to see him hurting and not be able to make it feel better. I think the reason he had a long recovery time was because he had the more complicated VE procedure. We did do the deed about 3 weeks out, so he was feeling "normal" by that point.
