    Freezing embryos versus freezing eggs

What do you recommend and what is more common, when a fresh cycle is not an option?

    Thank you,

Freezing embryos is preferred.  No question about it.

Didn't HRC have a study where they would freeze your eggs for you, but take half of them for their egg freezing trial?  I have a lot of older friends that are interested in having their eggs frozen....just curious where that technology is at now.  I had heard that there was a baby born from a successful egg freezing, then fertilizing and transfer.

My understanding is that freezing eggs is not a viable option at all, at this stage.  The first baby born from a frozen egg was just born last year.  It is still very experimental.
