Dd is 7 months old and her top teeth are trying to come through.....poor thing is just miserable. But I can't remember how old the boys were when they had these. Do you think she's old enough to have one in her little mesh bag thingy?

Oh she is definitely old enough.  As long as she can sit up and mash soft food with her gums, she will be ok.  I gave that toast that starts with a z to all my kids at around 5/6 months.  They just make a mess of it...LOL..

If her gums are really hurting you can also just give her a damp washcloth that you put in the freezer for a bit.  All my babies loved that too.  Or a frozen waffle.  catches the drool....LOL

I don't see why not... As long as you watch her to make sure she doesn't shove it too far into her throat or something. If it breaks in half I'd take it away...because of course when it's too small it's a choaking hazard too. Ahyla is only about 4 months old and I give her "Graduates Finger Foods; for lil' ones learning to self-feed; biter biscuits". I know it says 10months plus, but Ahyla is already teething and she's usually in quite a bit of pain. :( Poor baby, our nights are horrible because of it. I don't want to give her tylonal unless it's really bad though, and I dont' want to use anbesol except for when she's really hurting too... Last thing I want is a lot of medication going into her system, iykwim... I'd rather do it naturally.

It is VERY messy though! She does very well with it.

I watch her like a hawk on its prey. :o

I started giving Sophie the same graduates as Kacey did with her DD. I think the first one she had she was 5 mts.
