I am so sorry for your loss. I opted not to read the second part of your post. I just would rather bury my head in the sand and not think about any of that.

I lost my baby this past April at 20 weeks. I know that DH and my way of dealing is unusual, but we didn't want to see anything. We wanted them to take care of the remains. I just couldn't do it. My mom and son bought me a beautiful crystal heart necklace the day after my loss. I wear it all of the time. It symbolizes my angel girl.

I wish you only good things to come. I hope that we can all be celebrating with pictures and stories of our newborns in 2009.

     Hi MyBoysRock,

Thanks, The good thing about having houses full of boys, there is never a lull in the noise and the activity level, so not too much time to dwell on the what-might-have-been. I wish you lots of luck ttc in the future. X

    Hi Hopingfo pink,

I agree, seeing and talking to the baby really helps (for those who want to look), it makes it real and helps the grief proccess. I get a happy/sad feeling every time I look at the tree. A week ago I still didn't know the baby had died, but it seems like this has been going on for months, time is distorted when something like this, and not sleeping much either - I've been sitting at the compter since 4am just waiting for everyone else to get up. And yet, already I feel much better, less sharp grief and more sad. Still teary.

I hope you conceive soon, best wishes. X

    Hi Mrs.Maya,

Your way was the right way for you and your DH. We are all different. I love the Idea of the crystal necklace, it was a lovely gesture from your mum and son.

    Very best wishes to you.X
