We have ours booked for 15th October!!! I'll be 22 weeks. I really don't think I can wait that long. Will be 6 weeks between cardiac scan and anomoly scan. Feel like I'm at the back of the queue again. I think I might complain.

Well...had my doc appt. today and heard the heartbeat for the first time coming in at about 142 bmp. Brought tears to my eyes!! AND they booked my next u/s much later than I thought-for Sept 25th (more like 21-22 weeks for me) because the tech is going to be out . I was so bummed! Iono if I can wait that long lol. I might just try to book a private scan around here if I can...not really sure how to go about it, but going to research that now...:)

Yay you got to hear the heart beat!! How exiciting:) You should book a private scan. Let us know if you do:) I'll let you all know how mine goes tonight. I've never done this before. I usually just find out at the md office.

I'd really like to do something special with this pregnancy and I've mentioned this to DH before. Most packages in my area seem to start about $180 and up. Is this normal?  I'll have to talk to the hubs and see if he thinks it's worth it. It SO is to me, but you know...finances and all that lol. GL tonight Rhonda!!!! I'm am so excited for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i am paying $100.00. It includes a 2d gender scan, 4 pictures, a dvd, and at the end they will show you 3d/4d. So mine might be cheaper cause most of the time it is 2d. I just really wanted to know they sex. I am thinking when i am further along i might go back and pay more to have the 3d/4d scan just to see the baby. They say the baby looks the best if you wait till i think after 25 weeks.I never did any 3d/4d with my boys. I also only had 2 places to choose from. Can you ask if they can do just a gender scan? It might be cheaper:) If not you  might just have to pay the money to find out early. Thanks for all the good luck!

I can't wait :) I pray I hear pink!!

Well...it sure as heck BETTER be or something's gonna hit the fan...and I think we all know WHAT !!!

But in all seriousness, I am preparing myself for BOY just in case. To be honest my gutt is ALL pink, almost to the point where I would bet my life on it...or at least something equally as important...DH's maybe . But in the case that I'm dead wrong (which has been known to happen occasionally) I want to be emotionally prepared, you know? If that's even possible at this point...

All I know is I'm going to be a nervous wreck the morning of, because the butterfly's have already begun now that I have a date.

I totally understand how you are feeling! I was trying to prepare myself also. I would tell myself it's a boy everyday and i also tried to find a boy name and a boy nursery theme because all i had picked out was girl stuff. So i think that would of helped if they said boy.But i think if you are really really feeling like it's a girl then it most likely is. I really really thought girl and with my boys i really thought boy's! I wish you guys the best of luck! And i hope you get to hear GIRL! I can't wait to hear your news

I'm hoping on Wednesday I'll get scheduled for my ultrasound.  Had a premonition that it will be around 18 weeks.

Well even if it is a boy you will love him just as much! I know it's hard but try not to stress. I just looked at your pics of your family and boys. And all i can say is adorable!! If you have another boy that looks like those 2 you are truely blessed!!!!

Awww, thanks Rhonda! I do need to remind myself that i am very blessed already and I have alot to be thankful for. You are right, we will love this baby weather its a boy or a girl. Its just for my own selfish reasons that I wnat a daughter, another brother for my boys would be so awesome for them.
