I took the test at 10 1/2 weeks and again at 15 weeks (they sent me a free test because I question whether I took it too early). Both said 'girl'. I know it can easily be contaminated and give a false boy result but I don't hear of too many false girls. Am I wrong?

yep!   The opposite happened to me but, because of this site I have found that people indeed can be told girl and have a boy. (I actually know somebody in real life that happen to also!)  Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear.  I think that the test is a huge scam and can mess up entire pregnancies.   Another lady on here, who really helped me thru my TMPOB time,  had that happen to her ( I believe she was told girl 3 times and had a little boy) .  Hopefully, she'll let you know her story.   Dazie are you out there?

Hmmmm, I remember seeing Dazie's post. I just keep seeing so many boy ones that were wrong and only the one from her that was an incorrect girl one. As much as I hope mine is correct, I'm a complete skeptic so I like any info I can get to let me know if it may be wrong. Thanks for the infoHappy

Chloe-If you don't mind me asking, how far along were you when you did the test?

I did the BGM test and I was told a girl with Zach.  Not sure if the tests are done the same way..But, that is how I found this site as well.

I was 12 weeks the first time and got a boy result. (I also had a 2 year old DS at the time)  I did the re-test at 32 weeks and was told girl then. (The second time around I had my blood drawn at a lab and brought the test there to do it...maybe it was cleaner and such) That was after I knew it was a girl from the ultrasound.    I did get a full refund.  I'm kinda with you though, it does seem that the girl ones were more accurate.   They was also something about a bad chemical reaction thing at the time that some ladies got girl results instead of boy ones (meaning the "chemical" didn't pick up the boy DNA) They said that was why so many people were told girls. They also "said" it was fixed.   I hope you have your girl in there!!!

I took TMPOB at 10 weeks, Was told girl. Could not believe it. I emailed them with endless questions. The lady told me not to worry and that they had tested all my 3 samples. They found XY dna but only very small and within the cut off for calling it a boy result. She told me not to worry and that it was correct. I wasnt happy at that so I researched. Got to this site and a few others and realised how it was an easy money making scam. They have 50/50 of getting it right. Of the 50 that are wrong they rely on a small percentage bothering to get their money back so they are in a win/win. Its all statistical. I am not so sure they even test the samples. But anyway I am having a girl and I am also in the percentage of people that they got it correct for and now I cant ask for my money back. Its great for them isnt it? I wish I had have thought of it. I really ywish maybe that God made it so that we all have girl then boy then girl then boy etc...make life so much easier. :)
