Why only a fingertip of replens? And when I put that fingertip in, do I put it only slightly in, or way up by my cervix? Also, when I use only a fingertip, I just save the rest of the applicator contents for the next "dose"?

Yep- you just try to get it up to the cervix. When I try for a "fingertip" I end up getting a lot more, cuz it is hard to get it from you fingertip tip your cervix without losing it on the way up there Maybe I am doing it wrong, I don't know. The reason you only use fingertip amount is to just give ph a little push in the right direction. When you use more than fingertip amount you end up getting days worth of clumpy gross discharge that is the skin sloughing off. It is meant to give you a supple, smooth, younger feeling vagina I guess Either way, it's gross and it makes it hard to check cm if you use too much. I just put the applicator back in it's paper and save it fer next time. You do't use the applicator to put it up there, cuz you really can't wash it off afterwards- YUCK!

Yikes! (I haven't yet used the product) It makes your skin slough off? What are the ingredients of Replens/Refresh? Could it be damaging to one's girl parts? 

No- it's not damaging. It's kind of like lotion for the vj! Weird but true... apparently with regular use, it will leave you with (quoting the pamphlet with it) "softer and more supple tissue"  

It is very safe to use.

It is extremely acidic stuff and if you use too much, the adverse effect will happen and it can turn you alkaline!
