Transition from 2 children to 3!

For those out there with three or more children, what was the transition from two to three like?  I hear mixed opinions -- some say "going from one to two was so difficult, and then the third just fit right in without much fuss."  Then I've heard, "oh, two were easy, three is SO different from two!"  So far, the transition from one to two has been pleasant for us (if you don't count those first 6 weeks of course Stick out tongue).  Thanks!

I didn't think going from 1 to 2 was all that hard.....we had our difficult moments, of course......but it was definitely harder than 2 to 3. And after the 3rd you can just keep piling them on without much fuss. Lol.

I have to say adding DS3 was no big deal.  DS2 was almost 4 when DS3 was born and he really did just fit right in.  I think going from 1 to 2 was harder, even though that was pretty smooth for us too.  It's just you get used to only having one.  I think some people think 3 is harder because then a couple is outnumbered, but if you have older kids, they like to help out.  I think if I had like 3 under 3, that would be a different story!

I didn't find this transition very difficult at all, you are already used to juggling a million things and not having much time to yourself so i didn't really find it much different.  I would def recommend having another child - the more the merrier!  And they do also tend to occupy each other most of the time although there is a bit of referring required.

really it was very hard for me.  however, i also had complications and my mom decided to act a complete fool and wasnt around the first few weeks.  it gets easier every week.  today is not such a good day, but yesterday was great.  i know it will get easier and easier.  supportive friends really make all the difference in the world.

Thank you ALL.  Such great advice and words of wisdom!  Today is not a good day for my two...but I'm sure I won't get over that desire to add another to the bunch soon Happy
