Kate yes that is red hair you see - I love it I think it is absolutely beautiful - it is very auburn and some days you cant really see the red so much but it is still changing though I hope she never loses the red in her hair! Glad Aine is sleeping well too honey & that you are managing to get some rest too.

Olivia doesnt sleep much through the day now she sleeps at night so it is hard to get on here or to get much done at all LOL the house is a state!

How nice for you!!!  How long are you able to be off from work with her?  Mine were never sleepng through the night before I had to go back. 

Abby i have at least 9 months off which I get paid for then I have an optional 3 months extra which I can take though that will depend if we can afford it - if money is ok then I will take the full year off right now I cannot imagine having to leave her - I have no idea how so many women leave their young babies - it would break my heart so I feel very very very lucky to be able to have so much time off with her & get paid for it!

That is sooo good that she is sleeping all night!!!!!

 

You are very lucky to get paid leave!  In the U.S. you only get paid if your employer offers it and if they do it is usually only 60% of your pay!  I had to use my vacation and sick leave to get paid and that was only 2 weeks b/c I had to use some of my vacay/sick time for Dr. appts!   Maternity leave in the U.S. sucks!

Oh my, I love her hair! :D What a darling girl. Congrats on the sleeping through the night. Ahyla has been doing it since she was 2 months old.. I dont' know how I'll handle having a baby that DOESNT' sleep through the night, since Ahyla has been so good...oh boy.
