    I have a new niece!

    Well I just wanted to share that I got a email saying that my cousin and her husband welcomed their first child, a little girl whom they named Yasmine Sarai on July 19th!!! She is a tiny baby, only 5lbs but is doing well with mama and is so cute!!  So that's my happy news Happy LOL. So now I have two nieces and a new nephew born in 08. I know my nephew is born already, but did not hear much about yet, but hopefully soon =).  I'll share a pic too Happy

    Not a parent yet..but a proud aunt of 5 bubbly and beautiful (soon to be 6) nieces and 1 soon to be nephew....

    Somehow I knew someone was going to ask that..lol. Well I'm of Indian heritage and in India we all refer our sibling's and COUSIN'S children as our nieces and nephews. I know it's supposed to be second cousin, but there's no such thing as a "second cousin" in India. It's just easier to refer to them as niece or nephew.
