As far as laundry goes, I love this time of year. With it being summer and no school, I have so much less to wash. During the school year, the older boys were 2 outfits a day- school clothes, and then play clothes when they get home. Right now they pretty much wear play clothes most days. And since it's hot, the boys don't wear PJ's to bed. They only wear their undies. My 3 year old has just recently started doing this as well, because he wants to be like the "big boys". Baseball season is also over (thank goodness!) so no more keeping up with practice clothes and uniforms. So, at this time of year, I usually wash 3-4 loads twice a week.
I dread the school year and winter time. Not only do I have more laundry, the laundry seems "bigger" because of the long pants, jeans, and winter pj's, long sleeve shirts, etc.
About a year and a half ago, my old washing machine and dryer broke. Since I was expecting #4 at the time, we went ahead and purchased a huge capacity washer/dryer. I LOVE it. Man, I can cram that thing full! LOL!
