Re: Has anyone picked out names?

I've picked out Xander William for a boy.. Calista for a girl but no middle name picked yet.

The middle name for a boy is after my grandfather, who passed away this year in late February.

Xander William is nice!  My dh still hasn't decided on a name for a boy yet, and I think my best friend has settled on "Laina (Lainey) Jordin Elisabeth for a girl for me..She's knows I've loved the name since I was so young lolHappy Giggle

We decided on our boy name.  It won't be Alexandar or Zachary.  We are going with Jonathan Thomas and calling him J.T.

The girl name is still Alayna Anne.  I am really hoping this is another girl.  I love my girl name more then my boy name.  I always have a hard time with boy names though....

I can't think of any more boy names that I like that DH and I will agree on.  I think he feels "special" anyways that I'm letting him name it if it's a boy.  He was deployed my last pregnancy so he didn't get to experience any of it.  My dh isn't fond of "Lainey" but he knows how much it means to me so he caved lolHappy Giggle

Can i play?!! Our girl name is Olivia and her middle names will be Donna Lisa.  Donna Lisa was the name of my baby sister who died when she was 3 yr 11 months, so it would be a nice tribute.  I guess she would end up being "Livvy" or "Lilly".  We don't have any boys names at all. We'll have to get baby name book out when we find out the gender!!

Girl's name is Jospehine Colette for sure!  I have dreaming about this name since before I was married....weird, I know!

Boys are hard, since we already have boys and used up the names we loved.  Middle name will be John after my grandfather.  We like Quentin, Atticus, Tobias.  Our other sons are Theodore (Theo) and Augustus (Gus)!

Hi!  I am pretty new here...we just found out we're expecting #3 in March.  I love to hear everyone's baby names, but emit you really got my attention!  My husband wants to name a girl Josephine!!  Not very common!  He wants to call her Josie, with either Katherine or Elizabeth as a middle name.  That is if we get a girl.  We are no where near having a boy name we both like.

Well, if you get a girl and I get a girl (we'll both be happy campers Happy Wink) and we both name her Jospehine that will be fine!  As long as you don't live in my neighbourhood (and if you think I spelled neighbourhood wrong, then you don't live near me). Happy Wink

I have loved that name for so long and it meets all of my criteria (not in the top 100 names, only one way to spell it, clear gender, good nicknames, sounds professional, and has "weight").  I think Josie is a great nickname, and Jospehine is along the same line as so many other oldies that are making a comeback, but not near as popular!

And I vote for Josephine Elizabeth (Colette has been passed down to the eldest daughter for 6 generations and I would hate for the tradition to stop with me Pray....hence my need for a daughter)

    Good luck!

Emilia Baby Boy Theo (4), Baby Boy Gus (2) & Baby Boy Quentin due March 26th

Nope, we don't live near each other! Happy Giggle So I will just pray we both get to use the name!!!  My name criteria are about the same as yours, and Josephine fits it well!  I like the name Colette too.  That is a great tradition.  Both Katherine and Elizabeth are family names, but I think Elizabeth sounds a little better for the middle name.  I thought about using Katherine Josephine, we could call her Katie Jo.  But I think we really want Josephine as the first name.  But....I'm probably just wishful thinking anyway...I should probably be focusing more on boy names!

Re: Has anyone picked out names?

We're struggling with names this time round! We're about 90% sure that we'll have a boy, Ilove the names Roman and Jude but dp is having none of it but not suggesting any names himself! On the very slight offchance we have a girl, I like the name Millie Isabella and he like Hayley, hhmmmm...xx
