I have had two IUI's resulting in boys - just wondering if there was ever a poll done to see what everyone else that had them conceived. Thanks

 I did ask, but don't think there's many that have done IUI on here. That's more of an infertility thing and most with infertility don't sway. KWIM?

Not sure if your still checking this post. I had a boy and a girl from 2 different IUI's. I actually asked my Dr the odds and he said the results are virtually the same as natural baby making. But, in his experience he has seen a slight sway to boys, only by a % or 2 though.

IUI does NOT affect the sex ratio -- it does not make you more likely to have either a boy or a girl, using either fresh or frozen sperm.  In the Shettles book Dr. Shettles claimed that most IUI births were boys, due to the fact that IUI is timed at ovulation -- this is NOT true.

There was a large-scale study comparing the outcome of IUI with fresh sperm vs. frozen sperm -- which compared birth outcome, sex, and other factors.  Both groups had a 50/50 sex ratio.

I just found out that I am having a girl from an IUI.
