I knew with my first that he was a boy! I bought boy things, picked a boy name and he was a boy.
With my second I just knew HE was a girl. My OB didnt do ultrasounds unless there was a problem but I didnt need it I just knew. I didnt even have a preference, I new that we would have more so it really didnt matter plus I wanted another boy for my first boy. I bought pink, picked a girl name (silly I know) but at 8 months I had problems so we had an ultrasound and sure enough I had a boy.
My 3rd I wanted a girl but felt it was a boy. He was a boy! I felt so bad cause I cried at the ultrasound not that I was dissapointed in him just the thought of no girl!

11 years ago I was positive DS#1 was a girl. Big shock when I found out he was a he at 6months.
I'm almost 16 weeks along now with #2 and pretty darn sure this is another boy. Hoping I am wrong again but am so happy just to be having another baby!
 1998 Due 12/2008 w/a possible ! Fingers crossed!

With my first I KNEW that it was a girl about 2 weeks after I got my BFP and I was right.
With my 2nd I wanted a boy but KNEW in my heart of hearts it was another girl and was right yet again.
This time My gut and everything around me is SCREAMING BOY but they tell me it's a girl, I just am not having an easy time choosing a name or going shopping like I did with my other 2 daughters.

I had no instincts with my two girls. This time around I am convinced it's a girl because I had two girls already. We'll see!

I knew DS1 was a boy. The day I took my HPT for the first time, I had a dream, and he was there saying hi to me. I know weird, but I was so sure he was a boy. DS2 I knew, had a dream that my grandmom was congratulating me on my new baby boy (before +HPT again). Even though I knew, I kept denying it, hoping my instincts were wrong, and that I was actually getting a girl. Nope, at my 23 w u/s it said boy, and I knew it was true. So, two out of two, my instincts are 100% so far.

I knew DS #1 was a boy. We only picked out boy names and i was drawn to the boy section at the store. I was right!
DS #2 i knew it was a boy and DH thought girl. I was right again!
This time around i have this strong feeling that this baby is a girl. DH thinks boy. I hope he is wrong again. We will find out in 8 days who is right:)

Very true for me!!!!
I just kind of knew with all my boys that they were boys, I think that's why I didn't even have gender dreams with them. I just already knew.
With this baby....I also had this gut feeling, an instinct, but even stronger than with my boys. I thought maybe it was due to my intense desire to have a girl, so I tried to ignore it, and blow it off and nothing, assuming I'd be wrong, since I was so good at making boys. Just didn't trust the instinct this time.
I guess I should have as it was right!!!

I've read mothers are 75% accurate, but only when they have absolutely no preference. With DS, I was totally wrong (I really wanted a girl), and this time I was right! I also really wanted a girl this time.

I read this too. With #1 I was right, with #2 I was wrong. So it worked for me because with #2 I had a preference.
