I cut/paste this from a post, can't remember whose, what do you think?
I woke up at 6am, took my temp & it was 96.8. I usually take temp at 8:00am, and the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" says if you oversleep, subtract 1/10th of a degree for each half hour. So if you wake up early, I would think you add 1/10th degree for each half hour? So my estimates were, to keep the temp in line with waking up at 8am, that I should record 97.2 since from 6am-8am is 2hrs., so add 4/10ths of a degree bringing 96.8 to 97.2. Well, I went back to sleep and woke up at 8:00am, re-took my temp and it was 97.4, but DH had also put the heater on.
I rarely wake up at the same time bec. i have a 2yr old who wakes up thru the night sometimes and wakes up between 530 and 8a and on top of that, I have problems falling/staying asleep to get the recommended 3 solid hours in a row especialy when he wakes up at 530 and I fell asleep at 245a..should i choose that temp corrector thing on FF? I could have sworn there was a place to indicate a usual wakeup time, maybe it was the tcoyf software I had for free trial-getting confused...does FF adjust for 2hour or more diff. in times for temps or should I just use the above to adjust it? or let FF adjust it by choosing the temp correct.?
HElp! lol
