Earlier this morning I started a thread entitled 'I was forced to find the gender'. After reading your following comment there:

"If they haven't been able to make a gender test successful with blood, how can they do it with urine? It doesn't really make sense."

I recollected a funny dialogue with urobiologics and I thought I must put it in a separate thread. I had asked basically the same question more toward the accuracy and reliability of their test at that time. Dr. Verma replied something like this...

 " Recently we found a phenomenal new chemical difference beween urine with male vs female fetus and the information is so valuable that we are set to develop a digital gender detector which will say 'you are pregnant with a boy/girl'. The thought that urine will have so much value is beyond our imagination and we would like to call it "Gold Stream Flowing"

I think it would be better just to go get an ultrasound done at one of these for fun places.  Much more reliable and cheaper.  If they could tell the gender with blood or urine, docs would all be doing it everywhere.

Right, Red?  Can you imagine... buying a pregnancy test and then just a few weeks later a gender test from right next to it on the shelves in the local grocery store?  Hard to imagine...

Too bad the slogan "the most advanced piece of technology you will ever pee on" has already been used...

Sorry...I have a hard time believing any of these gender predictors work.  I feel like...when my doctors office starts using it as a diagnostic, then I'll believe there is some validity!

yeah, i wouldnt trust them at all.
