gotta better picture -is this my SONshine ?!

the stupid tech couldn't confirm but i know you experts can - i dreamed of his name last night & i want to go shopping for him. now my heart is with my baby boy so if this isn't 100% certain to you guys where can i go for another ultrasound ?! should i highjack an imaging center? all along it was the not knowing that gave me such anxiety, i wish i never did that to myself-  last night i finally slept good !

You would think with me having 3 boys I could tell but to be honest I can't..Either way congrats on a healthy baby!!!  Do you think you could get a 3D ultrasound? Those are so amazing

thanks for trying ! yes, there is a 3d place nearby -i thought you had to be 6 months along for them to do it.

Since you have your photo and can get a better look (use a magnify glass) look for a turtle shape.  That is what the testicles and scrotum look like in an u/s.  I think it loos like a boy but I can't get a clear enough image.  Both my boys were easy to spot because they gave a good side view.

Oh sheesh... that is pretty tough to read, but I would *guess* boy.  Of course, all I've ever seen are boy u/s, so I wouldn't know anything else!  ;o)  As for 3D - my doctor told me it is best done between 28-32 weeks.  I am at 29 weeks, and from all the replies, I think we had a really great 3D session!  :o)  I can't tell you how many times I have gone over the 39 pictures - smiling a little more each time!  I say just go with boy... and try to have a 3D done when you are a little farther along.  (Of course, we got absolutely NO shots of genitals yesterday due to his uncooperative self!  But that's ok... I just really needed to see his face!)  Good luck!

i got out the magnifying glass & it looks more like a giant hamburger than a turtle (now i have a burger on the brain & must go find one to eat !) - oh how i wish i just knew for certain. can a hamburger be a girl or can it really only mean boy ? i just booked the 3d scan in 2 weeks, i'll be almost 19 weeks then, for gender determination. she said they do them after 18 weeks. i wish i could know today. my dr's appt is monday for my 4 month check up & they do u/s there. if i beg or plead do you think she may do it ? or could i fake cramps or something ?! i was soooooo excited about the level 2 i had on thursday b/c then i would know. the let down of "well i THINK it could be boy" was too much. my best friend pleaded with her to scan just a bit more but she wouldn't due to time constraint.
