    It's great to see so much action going on in the adption forum, could we get a roll call please Happy LOL? Even if you are planning to adopt in the future, go ahead and post it. Here's mine:

    Started the process ( or hope to start ): April 2007

     Dossier completed: August 29,2007

    Referral: November 22, 2007 for a 14 month old girl

    Trip 1: December 15th-20 2007

    Trip 2: still waiting :(

     We were set to adopt (had just submitted application) and then I got pregnant with Caden...surprise!  So now I am in the process of trying to talk DH into it all over again!!  Grrr!!

     So glad to be on a roll call!!!  We have a big meeting with our home study social worker soon and some big decisions will be made at the meeting, so I will have to update after our meeting!

    country: Taiwan child preference: girl - infant under 12 months started process: November 2006 Dossier completed: March 2007 referral: Jan 3, 2008 - that was a GREAT day! Baby girl, 4 months old. - born August 28, 2007 travel date: TBA I don't know why I can't get it to put spaces.

    Country: Guatemala when/if it reopens

    Child preference: Girl as young a possible

    Started the process ( or hope to start ): Will consider starting the process if Guatemala has reopened after baby#4 is born if he's a he. :) Even if it's a girl, we may still adopt in the future so I like to read this board.
