You are correct, the mini pill does not stop Ovulation it only stops implantation. If this is against you beliefs (your doc should have explained it to you) then you might need to reconsider your birth control options. If you are worried that you O'd and believe life starts at implantation you can still go to you doc and have a Mirena IUD put it. This is safe for breast feeding. Basically the Mirena puts birth control meds right into your uterus and prevents implantation (and can sometimes stop ovulation.) If you feel that life begins at conception than you need to talk to you doc, either way you should call your doc. If you want to risk it, I have read that a lot of missed pill babies turn out to be girls because only the stronger sperm can survive the harsh environment cause by BCP. By the way, no BCP can completely stop ovulation, that is why they have stopping implantation as a back up.
