I disagree with you. Yes right is boy left is girl, but more often than not the right of image is left of the body and visa versa. You should always ask the tech to confirm this, because they can always flip it, but in the early scans there really isn't a reason to. I confirmed left of image =right of body at my transvaginal ultrasound and abdominal.
Her boy ultrasound looks very boy, the placenta forming on the bottom left of photo, I.e. right, which is boy.
Her original post u/s is trickier because of the positioning of the sac. Makes me wonder if it was taken in sagittal.... And the right/left wouldn't be shown. Posterior/anterior would.
