First try BFP!!!

It's been a while since I've been on this site... A few months back I decided that when the time came to TTC, I would not try swaying. Only praying. Just my own personal choice. I did order a lunar ovulation chart off the Odan website, and used that as my only method of any sort of actual swaying. The chart told me to TTC between July 2nd and 4th for a girl. On July 3rd DH and I dtd. Two weeks later on the 17th, I got my BFP. It was our very first attempt at conceiving. We feel very lucky and will be happy no matter what the outcome. Of course I am still keeping my fingers crossed for a little girl, wouldn't that be wonderful! Best of luck to all of you, may we all have the gender of our desired choice. I'm sorry I couldn't stay swaying with you all. I'm just excited to be pregnant, and if it does happen to be a little princess, that will just be an added bonus!!

Congratulations swaying'n'praying... Just curious if you were charting and your O fell into that period (time frame), or if you just dtd during that time regardless of O.

Hi Nefertiti, thanks for the congrats. Yes, my O did fall into that time frame on the chart. I got the chart back in January and had been tracking my O each month to see if it matched up with the lunar O on my chart. To my surprise it matched up perfectly every month which blew my mind to be quite honest. I decided that I would start ttc in July then as that was the first month that gave me a clear sign for a girl. Got preg right away so now only time will tell if it is in fact a girl. The chart was right for everything else so we'll see! :)
