F&F- I'd be glad to :) ad I can give you me as an example.. See our urine is created from waste from food, minerals, liquids, disease, sugars etc that our kidneys process... The human fetus doesn't begin making urine until 11 weeks gestation, that's what amniotic fluid is make of, after 12 weeks the placenta filters most of that, but it doesn't leak through the mother's urine.. Now here's an example.. When I was pg with dd1 at 30 weeks I began getting itchy wrists and palms, I mean REALLY itchy! Then my ankles and bottom of my feet started soon after. I called my dr and she ran blood work on me, they took 12 vials of blood! I knew it wasn't normal. Turns out I had cholestasis. It's a disease of pregnancy that occurs when the mothers liver can't filter all the waste in her body due to the increase in pregnancy hormone, and so my bile was spilling out and settling under my skin theiugh my blood. the itching was literally bile making contact with my skin. They take urine samples every week, do ultrasounds every week... Anyway once diagnosed they only let ou stay pregnant 4 more weeks as the excess bile can cause a lot of damage to unborn babies. That's why my dd1 was born 4 weeks early... Anyway long story longer, even with my excess pregnancy hormones, which is what aliprintice says they go by, the gender of the baby was never detected. Even through all that blood and urine work. Also, even for live human who get gender screens like for the Olympics and paternity, the tests are very expensive. It takes a lot of work to sort DNA and map chromosomes.. So sending a sample of your blood to a company is beyond belief they can also detect an unborn fetus as well. Also, did you know that even parternity tests and lineage tests are only 99% and decrease in accuracy with each family member removed? And those are samples straight from the source they are matching up and they still leave room for error! So I would imagine the margin of error would be astonishing to a sample given to detect a person who doesn't even have a full blood supply yet!

 babybleux you have really come through with all these details and such specificity. so when is the earliest i can clearly determine gender with u/s or other tests....and when you give me the # of weeks is that since my last period or gestation/ what is the general rule for that? when you have children all 6 years apart, you feel like a first time mother each time because you forget so much! it's so exciting this way!

I'm glad I could help. Some really really good techs can guess accuratly at 14 weeks gestation, which is from your LMP. However 14 weeks isn't worth the margin of error for my liking. If you want an early scan I'd go at 15 weeks and a few days, I'm going on the 13th of August and will be 15 weeks and 3 days. How far along are you now?

now that i know for sure you count from LMP i am almost 8 weeks but for some reason i look like im ready to deliver any hour now! because of my "advanced maternal age" (sounds so weird b/c i look so young - when i brought our eldest to college people were approaching me asking if i needed help finding my dorm or if i wanted to join all these clubs!! it was so cool, all his friends were saying "dude your mom is hot"....with this baby im going to hear, "how nice your grandmother came with you"....yikes!) i'm sure i'll be asked to consider CVS ?? i'll have to research the risk - i have no predisposition for anything and have always been healthy with healthy children so....

i plan on finding out the gender and keeping it to myself either way. i so love being pregnant, it feels like i have a special secret within me. maybe i couldn't hold it in but if it is a girl id like to take the time to digest it. i have no girl knowledge so it's going to be a huge change for our family/for me. i feel like i am an expert on raising sons and if i had to have all the same gender id never have it any other way than all my boysies! i love their football games, their playtime with legos, i got them into star wars as each turned 4...im just a guy'skinda chick. i have no patience for trypical girl things so im actually a bit scared....but would love to see a little version of me!! wait, that's actually a really frightening thought

Lol your funny! I had the same fear with having girls, dd1 is all my nightmares come true and dd2 is me made 100 times over in the personality dept but looks like DH and dd1 is my exact genetic clone but with nothing in common with me! Lol! I've embraced it and keep my mouth shut when she's being "such a girl" although it was a full force effort to do. I'm young, and look younger sono hope to get the good comments like you do once I'm older but for now I get the horrid pity looks and all that good stuff, ah well. Like you though at this point is be nervous to have a boy though it's a dream, football games etc but part of me thinks what if he hates sports? So I'm just excited for either this time! Unlike you though I do not enjoy being pregnant, each one gets progressively worse and it takes way too much out of me. Although I love birth and raising them the 9 months of growing just isn't for me, unfortunatly.

 my first born is everything i wanted in a son; all star, gorgoeus, brilliant - very masculine....the next son is total opposite. he is my artist, my creative dreamer (i always joke that i do have a daughter!) super sensitive when a girl he likes doesn't like him, but sooooo sweet and beautiful. he loves to go shopping with me - i prefer to go alone but he makes me laugh by trying on silly clothes and is just going to be the worlds best husband and father. he's concerned when i have pms!! my 3rd son is a mixture of both but way more "the king" than the others. i wonder what a 4th son would be like...can there be any more personalities?! i feel that another son wouldn't be unique but intellictually i know you can have 10 sons and they will all be different so this is really exciting...we are truly so fortunate:)

I am surprised you are still coming on this thread to respond.  Your company and methods do not work, and neither does you preaching of pH.  Don't ever talk about my family or assume I treat my family in a certain way.  And from what it sounds English is not not your first language but IT is mine and I know can understand exactly what you said, And yes you inferred stupidty by using Ph as a swaying method, when THERE IS medical studies to back this up.  And no I will not provide these to you, do your own research if you presume to be so intelligent.  And again do everyone a favor stop pushing your own agenga and products.

 aprilentice, do you work for urobioligics?! if you do (or if you just know a lot about them)  then i'd love to know what happen to the 2 moms that have been on this site and got wrong answers. i have searched through all the posts of those who took their post gender test (as i did) and 1 got girl result & had a boy, the other got boy results & had a girl. this is worse than 50/50!  i want to believe in the scientific discovery that this comany supposedly made but when they have a zero track record on this particular website, then how do you explain this? babybleux detailed the scientific based reasons why is CAN"T work, so if you can please explain why it DOES work that would be great & i would truly be grateful :)

Hi Fourth, How r u doing? No I don't work for any company actually don't work at all. I'm a housewife happily settled with a well paid dh. I have interacted with urobiologics numerous times and have exchanged hundreds of emails and i was fortunate to get a reply every time. The best part was that i got more than i expected in reply. You develop fascination and just kinda feel that this it. All of you being new to this board must have this concern that i am too much bent on uobiologics. Old posters here (including Maureen) know that this company has helped women here via sending educational, legal (FDA laws) and even financial help. i haven't seen any other company so far contributing that much. All of them have strictly selfish business relations. Maureen is the only person who can back up my statements. About scientific basis of their work, one can read their patents on line. They have opened new frontiers about women and i guess during that development process they might have gone thru many ups and downs. The women who got inaccurate results made it so big by posting several times that the reader thinks this company has done only these two cases in a year and they were wrong so labeled it as scam. That is why at one stage they introduced a scoreboard showing coded customer ID with reported and observed results. Everybody saw that they were holding 90-91% accuracy and they were the earliest in finding the gender. They had about 300 entries. Then some posters raised issues that those entries may be fake. I think they decided to shove it. Recently they introduced full scale preconception service where they have introduced a live chart with customer's email addresses along with the case history as it develops proving how easy it is to get a boy or girl. One can find this under PreGender hypothesis section. I think this is much bolder step because new potential customers can now contact any of them to gain confidence. You can yourself see the new facts they have unearthed about women. Some companies have already started to copy their ideas. As this chart will grows by reporting successful cases everyone will become confident of their work. In fact I am also waiting for some more results therein so that we can go ahead to plan for a girl. My problem is i don't get conceived quickly so it may not benefit me soon but at least i'll come to know if my cycles are alternating or not. Another reason of my fascination with them is that this is the only company telling high tech fertility companies like IVF that their success rates is near $40% because they have not understood women at all. That seems to be true. You can see that it takes a lot of courage to challenge established technologies and you can't just throw anything like that without some scientific base. I came to know all of this through emails from them. Best would be to try yourself and make your opinion. At this time i am the only one howling about it. May be you can back up my thinking about them. I strongly feel that we must support the right ones. Good luck with your pregnancy.

 April,can you explain how urobioligics determined the gender of my baby? i would really like to know if you know from all your correspodence, is it a ph test, are they testing for testosterone, dna?? any light you can shed would be great, unless they never told you - which would make me very concerned. "tell me pink or blue" states on their site that they test the mother's blood for the presence of male dna, is that what urobioligics does too? fill me in please :)

That's a tuffy for me to answer. Best would be to ask Dr. Verma directly. He will answer it properly to your satisfaction. I tried to read his patents. It doesn't say they are using pH to determine gender. Their work is based on oxidation and radical reactions of sex hormones (completely over my head). Everything seems as new findings. It must have some serious basis that they filed two world patents. These days each worldwide patent costs nearly $150,000 each. All I am concerned is whether this science can get me a girl or not. I am having my eyes on next development at live chart shown at their pregender hypothesis section. That's it. When is your ultrasound due? Guess all of are eager to know about your outcome.
