I had my 13 week NT scan yesterday and the tech asked if we wanted to know the gender. I first asked "well, how sure are you?" and she said "I think it's pretty obvious. This baby is a boy!" Then, she followed that up by saying not to paint the room yet but to definitely start picking out boy names.
Baby was measuring 13+1 and I was actually 12+5. I've heard gender can be really hard to distinguish at this age as everything looks very similar on boys and girls. At first glance it looks like a penis but on the actual picture (its not as blurry), you can see 2 lines and a tiny line in the middle. IDK, to me, that looks too fat to be a penis, especially next to those skinny legs. Are the two longer lines behind it scrotum?
I think Im probably in denial because I really was hoping for another girl. Thoughts?
