help me out girls!

 I want to do a saying like this in my 3rd ds's room (if we have one, still ttc) but if we do have a boy, he will share a room with his older brother who will be about 4.  Currently there is a muted beach cottage theme (main colors are pale blue and white) and we love it, so we will keep that going and possibly add some surfer style to the older ds's side of the room.  I want to do something like what is in the picture, but with a palm tree and I would like to change the saying to be ocean/beach related.  Any ideas on a saying/ quotation?

Each of my girls have a quote in their rooms! Dd1 has two, one has been there since she was born and it's "When the first baby laughed for the very first time, that laugh broke into a thousand pieces, and that, was the beginning of fairies..." She was my first baby and I knew her first laugh would fill my whole world! Plus she's lived up to it!! Then starting around two, she was little miss princess! Nearly every single day she would get I her dress up clothes and ask me "am I the fairest one of all?" So when we made her big girl room in our new house above her bed I put "Yes, you are the fairest of them all..."

I always got feeling about my kids personalities and so just before dd2 was born I put the quote you have up, it says "Let her sleep, for when she wakes she will move mountains" and oh my does she ever!!

I don't have a quote yet for this baby, just a framed art piece that says "Before you we had each other, now, we have everything" I was thinkig of blowing it up to a wall quote because she will be our little complete one!

Have you found anything yet? I haw a few for you if you like them.. This one has a little boat and map beside the quote and it says "Loot, Plunder, Pilage and Play, then clean it up and put it all away" ......... And I found one that you could put a vinyl surfboard and their names above and below the two names say "together as brothers forever as friends" ...... I LOVE this one... "If you want to know how much I love you... Count the waves" or.. "I hope you always have a shell in your pocket, and sand in your shoes"

My FAVORITE quote of all time for my Extreme GD little boy is:

"and then I saw you for the first time, and my soul went - "there you are, I've been waiting for you"

That is exactly how I felt when I saw him and everyday when I see him that is how I feel.

It also makes me so sad because it makes me remember how ignorant I was with my GD becuase now that I have him I would die a thousand times over for him because I love him so much.

I so agree with you, and I'm always saying that to people on the GD board, "don't wish away your pregnancy, work through your feelings as quickly as you can, if necessary talk with a counselor,  b/c you will REGRET every single day that you were sad about your precious baby!"

I had only mild gd with ds2 and I think it was more related to the fact that I was for some reason convinced he was a girl.  I don't know why but with ds1 I knew he was a boy and he was, I wasn't surprised at the ultrasound... all was well and good, but with ds2, I was equally convinced he was a girl,  so when I heard, it's a boy... I was shocked.  It only took me a couple of days to get over it, but I so regret just those two days of feeling sad about his perfect, adorable self.

Your story about DS2 has really hit home. I am pregnant with #2 and convinced it's a girl but I think it's more wishful thinking.
My DS1 is amazing and I would have ten of him if I could :P
