Ergo Baby Organic or Performance

 Hello everyone. So, my wife and I have decided on the Ergo baby, but we're not sure if we should get the organic or the performance. We are currently living in Taiwan and it gets pretty hot so we think the performance would be better because it's 1/3 lighter weight and cooler. But, we've heard the original/organic are more comfortable. We really hope the performance will be comfortable enough. Any thoughts on either the performance or the organic? Thanks in advance.

 PS, I know some of you will suggest other carries and we would normally appreciate any advice, but our options are limited here in Taipei, so please just comment on either of the two I have mentioned.  Thanks

 Wow, I'm quite surprised that nobody has, or is willing to comment on their Ergo baby!  Oh well, but if any one is out ther, please feel free to comment

Sorry, I don't have personal experience with an Ergo but I remember a friend of mine telling me that she was so glad she got the organic one as her son constantly chewed on the straps and she would have worried about the chemicals he was ingesting. Other than that, I have no advice! Good luck in deciding :o)
