I messed up.

I totally O'd early this cycle. I am swaying for a girl and BD 2X on O! O-1 and O-2....do I have ANY chance for a girl?? I am so stressed and anxious about this!! Thanks ladies...anyone with similar stories are greatly appreciated. Do you believe that it's 50/50 with this pattern or I am almost 100% going to get another boy?!

 Opposite thing happened for me: I O'ed 3 days late and we bd a couple more times thinking we were in the clear.  My oopses got me pregnant, but I don't know if the oops sperm got in or the ones for a 2-day cutoff (which was really a 5-day).  I completely understand your worry!!!!!!  I do still think that you probably have a better than 50% chance for a girl (but certainly less than the 85% or so with a strong sway).  You've been doing the diet and supplements, which are some of the most important sway factors.  With the diet, everything was certainly different from when I got pregnant with my boys, so I still have hope.

I have 2 friends IRL that BD through O with FR and got girls, so I have hope. I have also been pooling over charts on FF and SO MANY people got a girl this way too. Even women who only BD when their OPK's were positive. I think I want to believe in swaying because it gives me some control over things, but after looking at other peoples charts I think it just may all be chance. Otherwise the world population would be more skewed especially in countries like China who want boys..if there was a magic fix wouldn't word get around and everyone would just do it? I think statistically it's closer to 51% male and 49% female and that hasn't changed. Just venting to talk some sense into myself! HA!

Remember though timing is least important for a reason, I believe much stronger in ph and diet! If you were doing the diet and ph was optimal I bet you are just fine!! It's easy to focus on the timing be ause it's the last thing we do or notice. It remember all the orher hard work you've put in to dieting and ph and supps etc, you will have optimized your chance more than you realize!! Good luck!!

With DD2 we DTD right on O, so I wouldn't worry too much about the timing. My diet was VERY girl friendly at the time so I really believe that's one major thing that helped us sway girl. Like some of the other girls mentioned, if you've been doing the girl diet for a while I think your chances are still pretty good. GL!!
