Grrr.. Daddy don't like the name anymore.. Any new suggestions?

 Argh..   the ONLY reason I am now moving away from Elijah is his initials...   EWW..   I don't like that!  It reminds me of that movie You Again, which Marni, the main character, she gets teased for her initials..  MOO     

I don't want him to get teased, so I am now leaning more towards Jakob     My other boys and DH like Jakob better too

 I am curious - where's that at?  

I live up by Seattle, Washington..  and I don't know anyone with the name Jakob ( I am spelling it with a K instead of a C)

I don't even have any friends with the name Jakob, which is why I liked it 

I'm in England, there is a Jacob on my street and 2 people I know called there sons Jacob in same week in hospital. I like names where I don't no anybody with that name too x

 Oh wow!  You are pretty far away!  haha   Yeah, I didn't want a name that I know someone already has..  I wanted something different. 

I find boy's name the worst to choose, I can't use a name of someone I don't like e.g an ex, or if I have met a little boywhose rude or naughty, x

Jacob is really popular here, in Iowa too...but when it comes down to it, all names become popular at some point, so just have to pick what you like :)

 I think Jakob fits PERFECTLY with your other boys! I only know one Jacob, hes 4. Can't even think of another one I have come across recently. It has a k sound in it too, so the flow is nice between all your boys' names.

Oh, and LOVE the spelling. Doesn't look like one of those "trying to make a popular name unique" kind of spellings either. I think you have a winner!!

Jakob sounds really nice with your other boys names :)  It is very popular, though.  I'm pretty sure it's been top 5 for at least the past 10 years.

I LOVE Jakob!!! But because I simply adore the nn Jake, love love it! Don't worry about it being popular if you love it so what! Dd1 has an emensly popular name but I didn't know at the time because I wasn't around kids or babies and didn't do a lot of searching for baby names either. Its been in top 15 for last 5 years. It it totally suits her! Little Jake Witt how cute!!! Oh and dd2's initials are BLT and we crack up everytime we see it!! Haha!

I would agree with Babybleux,  having a popular name isn't that bad, if you like it, they go for it. And I too think it goes great with your other boy's names. If you are worried about Elijah though, you could name him Elijah Curtis Witt, ECT isn't bad. Good luck and try not to stress, eventually we all figure it out and name our little ones inspite of ourselves. :)

i like jakob but its so popular. i think its like number 1 on the baby name list. but who cares? if you like it then go for it. just remember he may get called by his last name alot. which isn't so bad for a boy. we really liked grace for dd6 but its too popular and i didn't want her called by her last name for the rest of her life so we used it as a middle name.

I like alot of your suggestions. Especially Jakob and Elijah, so great to see thats what you have come down to. Jacob seems to be popular here, (Australia), but who really cares?! I wouldnt :)
