Just for fun-girls' name poll!

I'm expecting baby number 6 and I'm pretty sure if it is a girl, she will be called Ava. It has been my favorite name for years...I know it's popular but that just doesn't bother me (just hoping someone close to me doesn't steal it first!!). However, my husband is still unsure about it (I usually get my way so this doesn't really bother me either ;-) so I thought I'd add a poll with the names he likes just to get other people's opinions. Again, my kids' names are Sebastian, Isaiah, Elijah, Jonah, Mia and......what name do you think goes best with this group?????..Thanks for your help!

 sorry i voted ella...i like ava but my son has a cousin named ava..idk if shes my step niece or what..we are divorced and its my ex sister lol so i dont think shes any relation to me..but i hate the sister..lol so idk...i guess associations affect it lol...is a pretty name tho...:) but i like ella!

I think it's my southern drawl but my mouth draws Ava out and it doesn't come out pretty (to me) however to see it it's a lovely name but I LOVE Ella!

Ella gets my vote--so pretty and feminine!

 Ella is my #1 favorite from your list, but Ava is a close second.

Also, for middle names...my daughter is Mia Autumn-Rose. She was born in October. I'm thinking of doing a similar middle name for this one who is due in January. Does anyone have any ideas?? (My husband loves the flower name Violet...but don't think 'Winter-Violet' has the same ring to it as 'Autumn-Rose', Lol) Or I was going to use the middle names Andrea-Grace, which is my mother and MIL put together. Would love people's opinions!! Thank you!!!

Natalie means born at Christmas which I know she's not but it's close, the January stone is Garnet and the January flower is carnation the name Camellia means carnation and Cami is a cute nn! that's my birth month! Some holiday or winter related items are Holly, Scarlett, Crimson. Gwen or Gwendolyn means white like the snow.. Gwendolyn Violet is very pretty!

Do you think?? Ava Winter-Violet?? My husband's favorite name at the minute is Rebekah so I was thinking maybe Ava Rebekah Violet...or using my mom's and MIL's names...Ava Andrea-Grace...I was due on Christmas day and my name is Natasha (which also means born on Christmas-but funnily enough my mom didn't realize this when she named me, it was just the first name that came to her when she found out she was pregnant-weird!) However I was 12 days late..this baby is due on 12th Jan so is a lovely little birthday present..I have a close friend called Natalie, and wouldn't want my other close friends to think I was singling her name out! Same actually goes for Holly. Will keep the other names in my 'thinking list'..thanks so much for your help!! x

Yep I really do! I like unique.. Not weird but unique and those fit! That's meat about your name! I was due december 29 and was born january 18!!! My poor mom was miserable, she said se refused to do anything because she was pouting and my dad made her go outside and play frisbee with my dads brother and wife and sure enough I started coming that night! Lol! Anyway all of your name choices ate very lovely and I bet your mothers would love the namesake! I have a dear cousin named Rebekah, spelled just the same way and she's so lovely and sweet! Plus I love the story of Rebekah!

Oh my goodness...you were 20 days late??? Your POOR mother!! I'm going to keep playing around with middle names in my head and hope something just sticks. Thanks so much for your input though. I haven't even discussed middle names with my husband yet so maybe I should see which he likes best, Lol!! Though he's not much fun...he just says 'no' to everything I suggest. I think he likes being difficult! I'm still trying to convince him that the first name should be Ava :o)

I know she wasn't happy with me! I was quite large too! Lol about your DH! Mines the same way.. I can't tell you how hard it was to name dd2. Haha, yes, it is funny how different our name choices have been! But to be honest, I really think it is the woman's territory to be choosing a name. I mean, I'm sure he wasn't a 10-year old kid sat at his desk writing down the names of all of his future kids. Isn't it a girl thing?? Or maybe I was just a weird kid, hahah!! Some girls dream of their wedding day...I dreamt about my future children :o)

Me too!!!! Haha! I dreamt of all my children. Names, birthdates, I'd even write out birth certificates. Always wanted a big family but 3 will be it for me.. never thought much about a husband or wedding just wanted my babies! Lol
