In other news, I started taking the PIO shots and GOOD GRIEF is my rear end sore! The shot itself isn't that bad, but the next day you feel like you did a thousand lunges the day before! I've heard that if you vigorously massage the area afterwards for several minutes it can help, so I'm going to try that tonight.

I've also heard that warming up the vial can help too! Another lady said she would stick it in her bra for about 10 minutes, and it really helped! Couldn't hurt, right!?

And congrats on 13 embryos!! That is an amazing thing.

 I don't know about warming up the vial, but definately ice the spot for a minute before injecting, then soon after that, apply a hot heating pad and rub it in as hard as you can for few minutes. I've been doing this 3 times now...

Thanks Wishing, I hope it is just a bump too. This has happened twice before with DH though. The first time it was for the tubal reversal. He changed his mind right before scheduling the appointment, after all the research and communication with the dr and clinic. That was about 3.5 yrs ago. The second time was almost 2 yrs ago with the RE in Michigan when we were at the office about to sign the financial contract. This time he is more supportive for 2 reasons. 1. I can't let go of the hope for a daughter. 2. I told him all of the clinics offer sperm donors :) a tiny bit manipulative, but it also let him know how serious I was. I tried to talk to DH about Mexico. He said we would die. Talks all about the drug cartel and gets all twisted and bent about it.... Sigh. He does keep telling me we can just wait a few months and pay down his card and find other options. He is even consider the embryo adoption, which he was so against. I would rather find someone willing to let us adopt their female embies than make a bunch of our own male embies. I'm afraid no one would want to adopt them. I could never just throw them away. This will all work itself out someday. Hopefully before I'm too old.

Oh that's awesome! I'm seeing Dr Hill but I actually saw Dr. V once last month while Dr. H was on vacation. She is great and is the one who recommended the antagonist protocol (she thinks I'm at high risk for hyperstim and that would help). So you start your meds in 15 days?? I expect to be starting meds around the last Monday of this month. Which protocol did she put you on? So glad someone else on here is cycling at that center!

Ha - sorry WishingforXY. I'm running low on sleep this morning (thanks to my cutie kiddos) so I forgot that you were the one who is looking to do a transfer on SATURDAY!!!! I'm so excited for you and have been checking this site every few hours for your results. :-)

Hi Blue,Blue,Pink- I won't be starting my cycle for a few months yet thinking til nov. B/c we should have all the $ saved up for the procedure and transfer by then.. and rightnow I am looking into plane tickets for the trip to Guadalajara Mexico. I plan to do my stimulation meds here where I live as the dr said i could do that way I would just fly out after I trigger and do the transfer 36 hrs after. I'm Still not sure how things will all workout and add up timing wise b/c I need to buy plane tickets ahead of time so let's say I plan for a certain date to leave.. How many days before that do I start the meds? It's confusing.. So Ru doing the same? just flying out to do the transfer there and that's it? When Ru scheduled in Mexico for your procedure, And Ru going to the one that's called Instituto Vida? I am still emailing with the Dr. From there to make sure I have all my questions answered. I see your on the meds now how is that going?

And then there were two. 2 normal males to transfer tomorrow. We are going to put all our eggs in one basket...quite literally :) I have no idea how I'm going to sleep tonight. Or for the next two weeks for that matter!

How was the egg transfer? I'm assuming the two boys you have were deemed "normal" by the lab? How were the stats on the rest of the 13 embryos? You got the 3 chromosome test, right (not the 5)? I hope everything went well and you're resting in bed so your little boy(s) can get nice and comfortable for their 9mo stay. ;-) Can't wait for the update!
