I had another dream last night ...

Hugs!! I've often heard dreams about baby boys mean there's a blessing coming your way. I can relate to how you're feeling. Our DD4 was a surprise baby and I had my tubes tied a few months afterwards. It's stressing. I love my girls to bits, but I will always miss my son. DH has agreed to HT if I want it in a few years, but honestly, I don't think I would go through with it. I will always miss the son I never had, but I've come to terms with it. But seriously, don't lose hope just yet. You can have ALL of my pink dust!

 Well, I don't remember any dreams with DS1, but when I was pregnant with DS2.. I was so SURE that he was a girl!!  I had dreams about "her", and I felt it was a girl and when they told me Boy.. I was shocked!  I couldn't even talk!  Lol  

With DS3..  I had dreams of a girl AND of a boy .. so, with him it was 50/50.. haha    

I have had straight boy dreams this time.. NO girl dreams at all. 

So, I think that's why I woke up feeling so gutted about hearing boy again.. is because I had boy dreams last time too..  we will see though in 10 days.

I am just gonna prepare for boy now..

Anyone got any suggestions for a middle name for Alec?   

 First of all, when I was pregnant with my first I had more than a few dreams that he was a girl so it's not a predicter.  I am with you though, I feel terrible for feeling this way but I now I'm gonna be very upset if this baby is another boy.  Not that I wouldn't love him just as much but, like you, I would never have a daughter now.  We are done after this one too.

sending you my pink dust! i feel girly vibes from you! mine are only going to be 12 months apart. and even though i always yearned for a boy i feel like life would just be easier if it was another girl. you know? i already have all the clothes, the carseat and stroller are pink, we are fully stocked up on barbies and my little ponies. im a little nervous about 6 children. 3 of which will be under the age of 3. another girl would have been easier but i get what you are saying. i was sick of pepto pink and its so nice to see a little baby boy blue.

But, I def hear you on the whole "color" thing..  I was SO tired of the whole "blue/boy/sports/trucks" themes for all the boy stuff.. so this last time I went with browns/greens/greys.. monkeys, and other things.. It made it easier to buy for another boy!  Lol

6 kids.. Heck, I am nervous about the 4!  Props to you though.. Major kudos!!  There are few women in this world that can handle kids like that.. You are their mother for a reason!  There is a reason you have all them kids!!     You can handle and I think you will do just fine. 

How are you feeling?  I was thinking of you earlier and was wanting to know how you were doing?  Any more dilation,contractions or anything?

Oh Hun I am so sorry...and totally can relate.  I have had several dreams that they told me I was having a boy and was just so upset and woke up emotionally drained.  I was so mad that I had those reactions!!!  I want to not care.

OWT says that you have the opposite of what gender you dream you are having. FX!!!

And besides, you make stinkin' CUTE boys!!!  That squishy ball in your avatar gets me everytime I see him!

Awww... Thank you!  He is something special!  My little 3rd times a charm baby!  

 

 

 

Dont lose hope yet.... My daughter was born a few days ago and I still sometimes check that she is a girl because I swore I was having another boy. I only had dreams about having or being told boy, the heart rate was the same as DS, cravings the same, my belly looked the same even though I felt I was carrying lower, everyone around me was guessing boy..... Fx for you, I can't wait to hear!

I know how you feel about dreams.  Mine scare me so much.  Before my dh was deployed to Iraq, I dreamed that he would be and since he was NG and not full time military, it was not anywhere near something that I would have expected (at that time, anyway).  Now they deploy NG almost just like AD guys.  BUT, the scary part was that right after he left, I dreamed that I was in the waiting room of a grief counselors office.  Someone asked me why I was there and I said my husband died.  I was a TOTAL WRECK the entire time he was gone convinced that my dream would come true.  Of course, it didn't.  He made it home safely, thank God.  But, my point is, I understand why you take your dreams so seriously. 

 

Hang in there girl, only a few more days and hopefully baby will cooperate and you will know for sure!

I think the dreams show your anxiety more than anything, I had the exact same dream and actually that's completely what happened but I also had dreams that it was a girl and what I actually hated the most is how excited I came away from the girl scan in my dream and it upset me more than I may never get that feeling. It made me anxious to find out but I'm glad I did as reading back I was in such a bad place before finding out and I'm not a all anymore. I really hope you hear girl x

I really wanted a boy for my first, i kept having dreams it was a boy and so was my other half. Turned out my baby is a girl, hope you get your baby girl. :)

hey so sorry to hear what u r going thru lovey... u know the biggest truth behind ur plight is ur insecurity... that u cant stand to have a boy or else you so so so long for a girl.. our insecurities make us weak from within.. in anyway we cant change the destiny.. then why not just accept with open arms whatever it has to offer??? why not just to enjoy whatever it is showering u with? and who knows ur sweetest desire comes alive in ur lap???? just be happy... i understand the deep emotional levels we reach during pg.. but just be calm and love ur child... he/she is not going to ask ur gender.. he/she will love u and give u innumerable reasons to smile once they come.. isnt it??? PS: i so long to have a boy.. and a single sign of baby girl in my thoughts makes me so sad... but i believe in GOD.. He'll listen and if he doesnt.. it'll be good for me... :)
