20 week ultrasound - boy or girl? *Updated with 22w scan, but still unsure? **Updated again 22+1 still need help!

I'm not sure if I'm over-analyzing what could just be "noise" in the picture. In the 3rd pic, is that a very faint shadow of a turtle head? And it almost looks like there are testes in the scrotum-looking structure. But I'm not sure if it's possible to have testes descended already at 22 weeks (scan was reading 23w).

But then on the last pic if you zoom in close, it looks like there is some sort of an opening which would be like the lips of labia.

Or am I seeing things already after all this craziness

Is that your last scan before baby's birth? Must be very frustrating! I hope you find out for certain.

I guess I could always go for more scans, just rather disappointed that after so many times I still get such ambiguous results. Maybe my baby just wants to give me a surprise!

I think you may just have to live with the fact that your baby wants to be a surprise package. I am thinking girl, but it could be a scrotum so not sure. Although after three scans, a penis would have shown up at some point. Still, I have some pics looking like your last pic and I was told girl. Keep us updated when you find out.

I also thought that if a penis didnt show up after so long it must be just not there.. and if it's even remotely possible for a girl to look like that then it must be a girl..? seems like quite a few of your girls looked like that. I just cant help having that lingering doubt from 1 or 2 photos that seem so boyish.. anyhow, more guesses welcome!

I agree. Legs together is never any good for gender guessing. I have seen many boys emerge from "legs together, it looks like 3 lines" shots. 

 

 

In the last few pics the legs did open up a little. Does it look like it may not be open enough for boy parts to emerge? And if the legs were close together would the tech be able to see penis from a different view? Or it's practically impossible? Coz that may explain not seeing the penis in all 3 scans.. Oh and I just read from another thread that testes usually descend only after week 27, so i must be reading the 3rd pic wrong.. ahhh trust this lil one to be giving me stress already even before coming into this world!

I managed to edit and put my video from the 22w scan up on youtube. Here's the link: http://youtu.be/RqrueKX_d-8. It starts with bladder then down to potty shot till about 00:53. Then he moved away and after me begging him to go back to the potty shot view he gave me another consolation look at about 01:40.

Hopefully 1the video will give a clearer view. I think he did try to go to bladder level a few times to look for a penis but didn't see one. Would it always show at that level or can it sometimes still hide? Considering the legs were quite close together, what are the chances of there being a hidden penis after all that looking?

I would say if the u/s techs say girl and it's different ones each time then it's prob a girl based on your pic I see nothing that resembles my 5 DSs u/s.. But one does look like my DD..Also they. Say girls sometimes close their legs and make it difficult to see..

I'm ok with either, just wanna be sure that's all. Many have said girl but Coldwater seems to be skeptical and that makes me hop right back on the fence lol.. that and I've been doing a LOT of googling but I seem to be always able to tell the girl bulges from the boys', but with mine I just go blank =\ Hope Coldwater comes bck with some comments on the 3rd set of photos and the video.
